I don't see why a Freeza henchman being able to train and get strong enough to rival Piccolo or Gohan is so outlandish when Freeza himself is gonna be training and getting strong enough to be a problem for Goku and Vegeta (and presumably Beerus and Whis). Why should training and getting stronger be something only the heroes were capable of anyway?

Going by what happened via Saiyan arc, I remember they /did/ have to keep their bodies somewhat intact in order to revive them. So, given that, my guess is the chamber is being used to create Freeza a new body; cloned from old tissue found by Sorbet and Tagoma. Hence why we see him "break out" of the chamber. That's probably when he's first revived and soul is put into his body.

Can't help but wonder what Sorbet will be up to throughout the movie. There's that one shot of him laughing in the trailer... I'm guessing he'll be Freeza's right-hand man or something.

If this manga really does faithfully adapt the film, I'm surprised they were so willing to spoil Tagoma's death. You'd think they'd have waited to save that for the movie itself. All the "Battle Of Gods SD" manga spoiled was the teaser fight between SS3 Goku and Beerus.

Yep, seems like the one disappointing thing I didn't like wasn't a mistranslation afterall. I'm not really fond of Freeza knowing who Buu is (just like I'm not fond of him knowing about Super Saiyan God), but it's not impossible that he would. He has conquered many planets in the universe. I suppose one of them could have stories of about Buu's previous rampage (or have a long lifespan and have lived through it) and then equated those events to Freeza's actions or something. Just seems unlikely due to how long ago it was. Oh well.

Still want timeline confirmations.

Porunga isn't bound by the same rules as Shenron. He made him a new one, out of his "generosity". Well, sort of new. More like he gathered the scattered chunks and pieced him back together and worked from there.

Tagoma get's killed already? The FUCK!!! Also, how the hell does Freeza and his men know who Majin Buu is? This begs the question, does Whis and Beerus even know who Buu is?
In BOG they just think of him as some pink beast. You would think that Whis of all people would be like "Hey, isn't that the Majin that killed and absorbed the Kaiōshin and caused havoc around the universe?" but no...

And Freeza getting to Buu level just by training? Fuck No.... There better be more to it.

What rules? Shenlong did the same thing with all the random normal people, like when Vegeta completely eradicated the crowd at the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai.

I'm expecting this to be an adaptation, since Tagoma's death sounds soooo funny it would be a shame if its not like that in the actual movie.

Thinking this is even more "The Vegeta Movie" because Freeza just marked two of Vegeta's three "people Vegeta cares the most about (ala his Majin Vegeta final explosion speech)" for death.

Could Freeza kill both Gokû and Trunks; leaving Vegeta scrambling to keep his remaining person (Bulma) safe while thinking of a way to take down Freeza once and for all?

Abo and Cado were said to be as strong as Frieza but surely that'd just be in his first form. They seemed to revert to good guys by the end and probably just left the planet and went home like Tarble.

By how Frieza stated that he wanted to get revenge on Goku and Trunks, I can't help but think that Vegeta may end up feeling belittled and insignificant in this movie. I'm sure Vegeta's going to have the will to lay the smack down on Frieza, but Frieza's attitude may portray that he wants Vegeta to stay out of the way so that he can focus on getting his revenge on the two Saiyans that embarrassed him in battle all those years ago.

Fuck it. Trunks flashback is probably the only reason Trunk's voice actor was needed. Well LA de Da! No Gotenks. No Trunks. And no Goten. I fucking knew it. We won't get to see Freeza interact with two mini versions (Or...direct copies if they grew) of people who killed them.

Which is really a disappointment... That OVA would then only serve for Battle of Gods/Six pure-hearted Saiyans. I would like to see more of Abo and Cado along with Freeza.

It's important to keep in mind that this is a translation of a brief recap posted by some random guy (who wrote said recap based on what he thought was important). A random guy who bought a comic that may or may not faithfully adapt the film. We're very obviously not getting the full story.

Nobody should be angry reading any of this. We've just got to be patient.
