I have read sometime ago that "someone" told him about the Super Saiyan God, now you're telling me that someone told Freeza about Buu... I know this can happen, it is a fictional story, but still...

Maybe Freeza just picked up the DB equivalent of the Hitchhiker's Guide somewhere along the way.

He will there's no doubt about it now especially with him going after Trunks.

You know, all this stuff about Freeza knowing about Buu, well there are some possible ways for that to make sense. I think I rather question how Sorbet knows about Buu to even report on that to Freeza in the first place...

The only way Freeza knows about Majin Buu is through that filler scene in Hell where he watches Kakarot vs Buu.
Man, this is intriguing me even more.

If you think about it, Earth is a pretty closed off planet. For a race like Freeza's, that's been travailing around space for who knows how long, it makes sense that they've at least heard of Majin Buu.

Sorbet has been alive all these years. And... I think it is safe to say anyone can sense Buu's Ki. At the time of Earth's destruction, Kakarot's, Vegeta's and Buu's Ki reach almost all the Universe. I just wanna know how those dual-eyed Scouters work, though. That may help.

Starts with flashbacks to Freeza getting beaten by Super Saiyan Goku and Trunks

With Freeza down, his army is in shambles. In order to reorganize, Sorbet (former staff officer of the third stellar region) took control of the army for a while. He heads for Earth together with Tagoma, a warrior on par with the likes of Zarbon and Dodoria.

They coerce (?) the dragon balls from Pilaf and co., summon Shenlong, and wish to revive Freeza.

Freeza: “I won’t be satisfied until I’ve killed the two Super Saiyans who did this to me”

Tagoma says something he shouldn’t, and gets killed for it.

Sorbet: “Son Goku has become strong enough to defeat Majin Boo”

Freeza: “That’s more than I imagined. But I’m a prodigy, so if I bring out all of my dormant power through training, I’ll crush even the Saiyans in the blink of an eye.”

The evilest revenge begins. End of part one.

Good news it seems Freeza doesn't train in hell. That'd be really really stupid.

Bad news it seems Freeza is revived so recently. Unless he somehow finds a special way to get stronger, I'm supposed to believe he can reach SSJ God levels of power from mere training. Yeah calling bullshit if that happens. No way simple training reaches SSJ God level. There needs to be more. I really hope there's more to this.

Tagoma get's killed already? The FUCK!!! Also, how the hell does Freeza and his men know who Majin Buu is? This begs the question, does Whis and Beerus even know who Buu is?
In BOG they just think of him as some pink beast. You would think that Whis of all people would be like "Hey, isn't that the Majin that killed and absorbed the Kaiōshin and caused havoc around the universe?" but no...

And Freeza getting to Buu level just by training? Fuck No.... There better be more to it.

Well I hope Boo was just some myth Freeza heard of. Like he thought Boo was a fairy tale monster. However if Beerus and Whis don't know him, it's hard to see how Freeza does.

Not Boo level, SSJ God level....yeah wrap your head around that. Maybe he finds 5 more people from his race, and they do a happy circle to give Freeza god powers:lol:

And even if their scouters picked up the ki from during the Buu Arc and didn't manage to explode, how would they know exactly who they belong to? Have they all been spying on Earth? I feel like someone would have picked up on their ki if they were anywhere close, as most members of the organization (and races in general) are stated to be unable to alter their battle powers without trasnformations.

This is another issue I potentially have, but I'm not really going to say anything about it because we haven't seen the actual revival yet. There could be something more to it...I hope.

That Cell really is the perfect fighter, and would curb stomp anyone in his universe with prep.

And even if their scouters picked up the ki from during the Buu Arc and didn't manage to explode, how would they know exactly who they belong to? Have they all been spying on Earth? I feel like someone would have picked up on their ki if they were anywhere close, as most members of the organization (and races in general) are stated to be unable to alter their battle powers without trasnformations.

Maybe they have been built a more updated version. Well, the last Scouter belonged to Tarble, a scouter presumably taken with him since he was born. So... I think we will finally see the updated versions. And I think so, that would also explain how they know about the Dragon Balls. They must know something more about Earth, other than "that's the planet where that disgraceful man came from that killed our boss!". And I agree on the last part.
