I'm seriously thinking this is The Vegeta Movie masquerading underneath. Main character always faces off against main villain. Vegeta's facing him. Gokû is a little off to the side.

I can't see it go any other way cause Toriyama isn't someone who reuses ideas so Goku being the one to beat him is out of question plus with Vegeta getting the new form it wouldn't make sense to give it to him just to have him lose a second time to the same guy which like with Goku winning would be reusing the same idea.

I know this was mentioned a couple pages back, but how come Vegeta is directly facing Freeza on the title page....you would think they would place Goku there!

It's Vegeta's fight and enemy not Goku's.

If Goten and Trunks really aren't in the movie then how would Vegeta become a God? Unless the movie already starts with Goku and Vegeta training with Whis on his planet and Vegeta obtained the form in between the two movies so he could keep up with the training.

I don't think they'll mention Trunks and not have him in it.

If dozens of humans couldnt immediately recognise Piccolo Jr from King Piccolo when they look identical, nobody else has green skin and he'd threatened the world just a few years earlier then I don't see how it's a problem that Beerus wouldn't recognise a completely different looking Buu.

Correct, which means if it is anything other then just going over what happened it will make no sense because Trunks cut frieza in to pieces AND THEN BURNED/disintegrated IT ALL with a blast.

Really cool to see mecha Freeza again, though as pointed out it doesn't make much sense. Maybe he gets chopped up again? It would be kinda insane if he just laid there for a decade, or however long it's been.

The Earth did blow up, so I guess his body was disintegrated then, lol.

I like Tagoma's design and it's a shame that he gets killed off so easily. Both him and Sorbet should have lasted until the film is over.

After trunks blew him up the ashes would have gone into the dirt and became part of it right ? So after the earth is wished back his parts return to normal.
