The thing is that this manga doesn't show Trunks disintegrating Freeza, just cutting him up. I'm surprised Toyble missed something like this.sintzu wrote:After trunks blew him up the ashes would have gone into the dirt and became part of it right ? Doesn't he have to write what's in the movie only ? I'm sure if that was in the movie he would have had it in.Doctor. wrote:The thing is that this manga doesn't show Trunks disintegrating Freeza, just cutting him up. I'm surprised Toyble missed something like this.

I'm even more surprised that Toriyama and the staff at Toei missed it then. It's early to assume stuff though, for all we know the manga and movie might have some minor differences like the JSAT special had.

Hmm, not sure what you were trying to prove xD
I said this manga, the Fukkatsu no F one, shows Freeza's body "intact", I didn't say that Freeza's body didn't turn to ash in the original.
If he was remembering what happened, then why are his mechanical pieces scattered on the floor when Trunks blasted him in mid air?

With him dying before it happened maybe he thought he just cut him up and left him there ?Doctor. wrote:

Maybe Trunk's blast just blew up Freeza very far? XD It would be like an episode of Blue Dragon 2nd season, some character get blown of and everyone mourns them, then they appear at the final episode regaining their health as they weren't disintegrated, but blown the F*CK away.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I dont get it; If Frieza had this "dormant power" which could be brought of though training, why didn't he do that when he went to Earth. Moreover, its implausible to think that he could increase his power level to beyond SSJ3 in such a short amount of time. It also seems really strange that his followers(forgot their names)landed on earn, summoned the dragon, without alerting any of the Z warriors. Surely Dende would have noticed that Dragon. My "PIS" sensors are tingling.

It's possible that he had some kind of power that was sealed away somehow and that him dying destroyed the seal somehow. That's the only explanation I can find. I don't think Toriyama (or Torishima) will think a story is good if Freeza can turn millions of times stronger with a few years of training.I dont get it; If Freeza had this "dormant power" which could be brought of though training, why didn't he do that when he went to Earth. That's a stupid excuse. He was weaker than Beerus and Whis and apparently he knew about Boo too so I see no reason why he shouldn't train to surpass them. You're implying that he felt that training was beneath him because he thought he was the strongest but the thing is that he knew he wasn't.Dbzk1999 wrote:Because freeza still felt training was beneath himAvatarReiko wrote:I dont get it; If Freeza had this "dormant power" which could be brought of though training, why didn't he do that when he went to Earth.

If he was working for Beerus then he wouldn't have to worry about him or Buu.Doctor. wrote:That's a stupid excuse. My thoughts:
1. Maybe Freeza knew about Buu from Beerus. Maybe Beerus asked him destroy planets for him because he dones't really want to bother with. Maybe then he told him that Buu was even stronger than Freeza was, but then he was sealed.
2. I don't really like that panel from the Hell Mecha Freeza being locked in that cocoon.
3. I think Freeza didn't train just because he didn't need it against other beings. And Beerus was sleeping for centuries, Buu was sealed... Maybe he wanted to be immortal have a chance to beat Beerus if he will wake up. So that was his real intetion when searched for the Dragon Balls in Freeza saga.

It still doesn't explain why he didn't train to b resurface this power after he was beaten and humiliated by Goku, a mere monkey.sintzu wrote:If he was working for Beerus then he wouldn't have to worry about him or Buu.Doctor. wrote:That's a stupid excuse. Nothing says that he knew just how powerful buu was. Or that buu was still around. Just that he was once there
Instead of training to face goku again, he chose to just get cybernetic enhancements
Freeza doesn't like training, that part was pretty clear about him

I just now noticed that Freeza has his mechanical body in Hell. Maybe the panel showing him in pieces takes place in Hell? Maybe part of his punishment is reliving his death over and over again?

I wonder if he could have even trained that much with more than half of his body being cybernetic.
Maybe he assumed at full power and with his dad that they could take out Goku together.
Any personal distaste of training probably went out the window after decades in Hell.
Not a very fun place to be generally.

"That's more than I expected."
He didn't choose, he was forced to, otherwise he'd die. He had more than half his body missing.
He said that, besides Goku, the only one who put a scratch in his true form was his father. Why would he be fighting his father if he doesn't like training?
It's possible that his face is there just to distinguish his soul from the rest. It's really vague, we don't see his body so it's not safe to assume he kept it.Oh fucking horseshit. He should be a cloud at most. This is really stupid.

The Ginyu Tokusentai were in pods on the Jump Festa postcard;
they look completely different than what Freeza's trapped in, though. Maybe related?
