And ANN reviewed Jaco: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/ ... /gn/.84190

EDIT: Oh yeah, Chris Sims recommended Jaco recently as well! http://comicsalliance.com/akira-toriyam ... an-review/ It's nice to see the book getting some attention outside of anime/manga circles.

I really, really hope Gine's color scheme be that way, if ever she appears eventually. But on the other hand, didn't like Kakarot's color armor, I prefer the DBH card version. Overall, pretty much cool. Oh, and Bardock MUST has his headband...

Seems like Jaco did pretty well in it's first day of sales in South Korea. It's at the top of the chart.

Toriyama is still a draw.

Do you guys think that Jaco will ever get animated? Like getting a few 30 minutes OVA's or something?

I don't know if they would but it'd be nice if they did an OVA that was made for the Revival of F Home Video release.

I may be wrong on this but wasn't the Yo Son Goku OVA part of one of Battle of God's releases?

I don't remember if it was in any of the others, but It was for sure included on the Japanese Collector's Edition.

So the Korean version came with the bonus key chain and stuff? That's awesome!

If Jaco gets animated it's probably because of DB Minus.

At least Jaco got that "Vomic", and Jaco himself appeared in Xenoverse.

I would like to hear Gine's voice.

What makes you say that? It was only a bonus back-up story.

Because anything Dragon Ball gets animated these days and if the JSAT and EoB specials are put out, I don't see why DB Minus wouldn't, when it's arguably much more relevant information. Toei might not do it, though, because it conflicts with their own special.

Well, look at the recently announced so-called "Jaco" figures. The only figure that was not a character that was in DB Minus was a character that's a lead DB character. It's really insulting and ridiculous but it's the truth. The marketing is in the DB connection.

I thought it was interesting, but honestly a little shocking, that the ANN review of Jaco doesn't mention Minus at all!

?

Someone else contacted me a while ago asking if I was the same "Medama Oyaji" who was involved with the Brazilian DB fan community. If that's who you think I am, I'm sorry for the confusion, but that is not me. I wasn't aware of him/her when I chose this alias.

Oh! So sorry! And yes... I thought you were him. You joined here pratically at the same time he left that community, same name... And I heard he uses to visit Jaco's topic. But okay then. Sorry anyway!

If Neko Majin Z hasn't been animated yet, even as a short gag OVA or something, I don't think Jaco as a whole will be either.

Though I won't rule out bits and pieces potentially being used for flashback material in the future or something. If Freeza thinks back to planet Vegeta's destruction in the new movie, since Toriyama is writing it, it would likely be the Jaco/DB- incarnation.

Keep in mind that both Cashman and Ackman have received video games and anime adaptations...
