PAL Final Bout Question

Post by Yamicrazy » Mon Oct 23, 2006 12:35 pm

Does the PAL version of Final Bout contain the japanese voices during the cut scenes when you pick your characters? Or does it have the voices in the first American release?

Since I have the PAL version, I can answer this with no complications: yes, in Final Bout, everything except the text (which is, of course, in English) is in Japanese. The character select cut-scenes, the in-game battle cries, the stuff they say right before the fight, every voice is in Japanese. And that's how I prefer it. It makes a sucky game a minute bit less sucky. :)

I second that... dude, do you get £4.00 allowance a month or something?

Nah, just kidding. If you wanna buy it, go ahead. If you're a comletist. If you're just looking for a fun game, run as far away from it as possible.

Final Bout may suck but you can get it for about £1. I don’t have it so I will get it just for the sake of having it.

That was my reason for purchasing Ultimate Battle 22. I spent more time laughing at the poor translation in the manual ("Majin Boo" and "Super Bou" - consistancy for the win) than actually playing the thing.

I bought Final Bout off of a friend for ten bucks a few years before it was available in the US. I sold it to another friend for $15 a week later. Two weeks after that I fould out that it was going for over $200 on ebay. I'm still kicking myself in the balls over that one.

I bought the American re-release... I popped it in once, heard Piccolo say "Now shall I clean the trash of the universe?", and never again!
