The Sparking! Password Option

Can all of the character passwords from Budokai 3 be enabled in the first Sparking! game, or are only some of them designed to work?

An example is this: I enter a Budokai 3 Goten character password, and my Sparking! Password Character turns out to be SSJ3 Gotenks. Is there a Budokai 3 password for each character that works (excluding the obvious exceptions like Yi Xing Long and Uub), or are some characters set to default automatically to a stronger form?

The Password option takes the characters and gives you the closest an approximate counterpart in terms of power.

I little bit off-topic but does Sparking! NEO have this same feature? Not that I particularly care, just curious.

Yes it does.

I remember hearing some time ago in an interview that Sparking! NEO will have the same password feature as Budokai 3, where it gives you a pssword for a character that you create.
