Nice to see we are a little less than two weeks away from finally seeing just what Freeza's new evolution is. I guess this means it really is a new form?

I have a feeling people are going to be disappointed by Freeza's new form. Even if it looks like the coolest thing ever, it will be nitpicked to hell and back.

I agree with this, as this fanbase has gone to hell, and seems to hate anything new.

I just hope if/when the nitpicking starts, it spawns separate threads. I can't agree with it being the entire fanbase, but definitely a good chunk of this thread today. I was stunned by how completely overtaken it's been; super-depressing.

Maybe I'm just not that affected because I have no investment in the topic that's been so hotly debated here today; same thing with Freeza's new form. I'm curious about it, and may or may not like whatever it looks like, but I don't think it'll get me upset or anything.

We were going to see what it looks like one way or another. It's best for us that it's revealed in a magazine so that we can see it clearly instead of relying on blurry & possibly misleading mobile photos from moviegoers.

Lolno. Going Super Saiyan uses energy. If he doesn't need it like you claim he doesn't, then he would be simply wasting energy. You do know that SSJ and all of it's forms are merely multipliers, right? How would going Super Saiyan "do nothing" and "not effect his base strength"? How does he no longer need a multiplier? That would mean all SSJ is now is a dye job and a faster energy burn.

And lol you still never explained. There's a HUGE hole in your already hole-filled theory. Why did Goku re-transform into SSJG? According to you, he doesn't need it. Base and SSJ are exactly the same in power now. Why was SSJG able to do what SSJ and Base could not? Could it be because, *gasp*, it's a stronger form!? Nah, that's just silly.

It feels like you are completely missing or just ignoring everything I'm pointing out to you. I don't know how to make this anymore simplier for you. It doesn't matter if turning SSJ uses energy. That's not the point, the point is there is zero change in his battle power/power level when he does it. That's why I keep pointing out to you from SSJG to base to SSJ there is no change in his performance or power level against Beerus. Goku has to be told he's not using SSJG and Goku is shocked, he thought he was still SSJG, but noticed no changed in his power and even question it. This is fact man, you cannot deny this. i mean you could,, but then I would question the rationality of your entire argument to begin with. The rules have changed since he attained SSJG and made it his own.

There is no huge hole in my theory and its not a theory, its literally what happens during the course of the movie. Also, you are asking me to prove a negative. Nobody knows why Goku re-transformed in SSJG. Also, your reading comprehension is terrible. I never said Goku didn't need SSJG, I said there is no change in his power level between individual forms. You are also asking me to prove a negative. Nobody knows why Goku turned into a SSJG at the end. When questioned by Beerus what the hell did he just do Goku responds he has zero idea himself what happened. Therefore I can't answer your question because we literally have no idea what happened and why. Your speculation isn't proof of anything.

The film isn't due for release for another two months, so it is not too surprising that there has been so little marketing. The film didn't even begin post-production in earnest until just recently, so one would think the marketing team was bidding their time to have something to actually show before becoming particularly loud. Additionally, it might very well simply be easier to line up one's ducks at one time, near release, rather than multiple times, months before the actual release.

SSJG wasn't revealed in any magazine as far I remember. There was just a sketch picture in their office and when people watched the movie confirmed that was indeed ssjg.
Now reveal a new form to the public like that...

Frieza's new transformation revealed soon? Wow... Even as a spoiler-loving person, I think I'm gonna pass on that one. I'd rather be surprised.

But if his new transformation ends up being that his chest plate simply changes from purple to white like in that bit of the trailer and on that keychain (and wasn't just an animation error/miscoloration) that would actually be pretty hilarious.

This news about the reveal of Frieza's transformation almost lends itself to an actual transformation and not just "God aura" and what not that has been suggested before.
