The marketing's been strange and frustrating for this movie for most of the haul. I really don't understand why they're going to reveal Freeza's new form unless they have an even bigger secret than this is to distract from (ssjg Vegeta?).

I hope there is a even bigger secret. But a lot of people are calling SSJG Vegeta. So I would like other thing.
Well, if the ending won't be a obvious one, will be enough.

Something completely unguessable would be great. I'd enjoy it if they could somehow surprise everyone.

Wtf?! This is one of the things you just don't reveal...
SSJG wasn't revealed in any magazine as far I remember. There was just a sketch picture in their office and when people watched the movie confirmed that was indeed ssjg.
Now reveal a new form to the public like that...

I think that Toriyama is planning to fix some of GT flaws, which would be pretty interesting

I still think Toriyama is ignoring GT seeing that he didn't care for that much since he called it a side story. Ignoring GT is a good thing since it's dislike by a lot of people and having it be retcon for good would be nice. I see nothing if he does since you can still watch the show. It's not like it's going to be erase from the Earth for good. GT would be view as a AU series similar how DBZ Movie 1-13 are.

One can only hope he does. At this point, I'd rather he just go the DBO route with this.

So over ten new pages to this thread since I left for work this morning, let's see here...new Bulma blog entry, people complaining about that, people complaining about everything else under the sun, and we're gonna get to see Freeza's 'transformation' soon...and people complaining about that too. Yeah, I think that about sums it up. *sigh*

On the Gohan tidbit - he did go Super Saiyan in Battle of Gods, but it was only during the Super Saiyan God ritual, therefore he might not even have realized he was in the form at the time. And he's probably even rustier now than he was then (have we ever had it confirmed if this is just one year after BOG or not?), so it's not this huge deal that he 'thinks' he can go SS. At all.

On Freeza's new form - I'm conflicted on what I want here, but I think I'm leaning more-so towards it being something extremely simple, just like Super Saiyan God was. I kind of want it to just be a fiery aura really.

I can't think of any aura other than that of "Villainous" from Dragon Ball Xenoverse for him. An even more black and dark purple evil-looking aura.

No way in hell will Frieza's transformation involve him buffing up (this is no longer a thing) or altering his face to a point he's barely recognizable. If anything, he'll look more like Cooler's first form, and that's if we're lucky.

1. He was a scaredy cat at the time. Of course he wasn't ready for anything dangerous. People crack under pressure. Gohan wasn't ready for a life or death battle. He grew to like Piccolo and their time together, and that's undeniable. They bonded through battle, and Gohan cherished that time.

2/3. Because just cause your doing something for the good of the world, doesn't mean you have to enjoy yourself. He could simply show he hates to fight, but he doesn't. He hates if all his training went to waste when Vegeta told everyone to go home.

4. No shit Gohan doesn't go picking fights, but he tends to fight crime...HE'S A CRIME FIGHTER! That's what a super hero is. He enjoys being a CRIME fighter. If he wants to talk peace, why not study up and be a peace keeper instead of a crime fighter huh? Fighting super powered foes would be crime fighting on an even larger scale.

5. It was training, he enjoyed training with Goten. Simple as that. He didn't groan or whine that he had to. He doesn't hate fighting or training, it's just not his main interest.

6. He never said that cause he wanted to fight Dabura plain and simple. He could have easily passed and had Goku or Vegeta do it if he "dislikes" fighting. But he doesn't. He's just not battle hungry. He never once was pushed into fighting Dabura, he wanted to. He wanted his turn to fight. He wanted to because he does enjoy fighting to a certain degree.

7.Because he was horribly out of character at the Cell games. Before he wanted to help fight even though Vegeta and Piccolo could handle things with the Cyborgs. He didn't want his training to amount to nothing. If he hated fighting, he would take Vegeta's advice since he isn't needed. He honestly wastes his time telling Cell to stop even though he should be smart enough to know he won't. He's not a fan of having to fight to the death, but he doesn't hate fighting.

8. Further more with Boo he didn't seem to hate fighting either, he relished in the fight. He's smirking the whole time. This isn't even like his psycho SSJ2 self who was sadistic.

1- You're right, it's undeniable but is totally deniable what you said before: That Gohan learned to like fights because of his time spended with Piccolo.

2/3 - He show later when he fought with Cell and later told him about his hidden powers, much for Cell's amusement, also Gohan trained because everyone would train too, and why he would demonstrate dissatisfaction by such a dull thing like that?

4- He enjoys fighting for justice not for personal enjoy that's the difference

5- I don't said he hate fighting just that he don't enjoy as something for himself.

6- Never said but it is implicit, he wants to fight Dabura, right, but after have seen that his father got strong it was something that he want to prove to him. I not saying that Gohan would skip Dabura but he had his reasons to fight him (Avoid Boo ressurection, make Krillin and Piccolo back to normal) now that all these reasons, would really Gohan fight Dabura only for personal enjoy? I don't think so.

7- He really wanted to help? Then why not ask Krillin to leave Bulma, baby Trunks and Yajirobe to safety and then he could help against 17 and 18?
Gohan never fought by his own. "It's my turn now! Fight me" that's something that he never would say but Goku yes.

8- Like I said before, Gohan only fight when he have reasons to and for his "psycho SSJ2 self" I think that was something out of his character responding to Goku that Cell should suffer more before finish him, something that Vegeta would say for sure (don't know if this scene is filler) I enjoyed more his quiet rage, slaughtering Cell Juniors without saying many words.

Everyone reading this, I want you to visualize this transformation being first form Freeza wearing lingerie, and God ki emanating from his body. It will save you from any possible disappointment.

In all seriousness, I like Frieza's final form a lot, especially wheb the muscles are big but not too big. I am 100% sure the new evolution/transformation will be a new form, but I wouldn't mind if he simply got Godly chi.

Just curious, because it's been tossed around so long now (because it does seem to be the obvious way to go) that I can't honestly remember if it's just heavily theorized, or actually stated/hinted yet. As obvious as it is, it would be kind of interesting if it was something else entirely.

I'm fairly sure it is based entirely on the fact he has a glow around him on the poster.
