His shoes are basically a less detailed version of the ones Future Trunks wears; they lack stripe lines in the tip potions on the toes and heels.

Not just you. They look like they've been really poorly scaled down from huge originals.

I really want to see this TV spot. I'm dying to see this shot being drawn:
Also, regarding the latest blog post; you have no idea how much it makes me smile when Nozawa calls Nakao, 'Ryusei-kun'. That's adorable.

A question for the pros:

I had a hard time to determine if this illustration from the V-Jump was drawn by Toriyama or Toyble ?! I'm still not sure.

Toyble drew the manga ... but as you can see, the name of Toriyama is written directly on the illustration here:

Is it just me, or do I see a hint of magenta underneath that Goku sketch?

Or is that normal for production cells, before I get ahead of myself?

I think the creator is Toriyama. It is the style of Toriyama. In the Fukkatsu no F manga Toyotaro uses its own style.

Even if the magenta color isn't just being used to help sketch out the scene, it's not actually Super Saiyan God. Eyes are wrong and so is the hair. :P

Not to mention that any colouring is done digitally. The hue you're seeing may well be similar to this:

Which, I believe is used to to designate where highlights should be.

If the Oracle Fish really is making a return, maybe it turns out that 'Super Saiyan God' wasn't the rival that had been fore-told at all, and it was actually a returned Freeza she'd been talking about? She did seem rather non-committal to Beerus' questions in BOG, but I had just assumed that maybe she'd never told him anything at all despite what he was claiming.

She had earrings in her BOG design too though. :P

Really hoping her design is a work in progress of sorts, because man she really is looking stumpier.

Especially when she is supposed to be a 9 YEAR OLD GIRL in this movie. My niece is 7 months and she is taller than Marron.

Those character bios say that Tagoma is Sorbet's bodyguard. Has that been revealed before?

Okay, we're at least six years removed from the Buu arc and Marron still hasn't visibly aged. The hell? Maybe it's her dad's genes...

Dug the Oracle Fish, happy to see it return.

Still not looking good for Goten and Trunks. I'll be disappointed if we don't see them, if only because I want to see how long they can stave off puberty.

Maybe we don't see them because they've started? Their minds are getting the hormones and stuff to help them develop into that of an adult, but their bodies aren't exactly there yet. So they're embarrassed and refuse to leave their houses. =P

Or, the classic:
"Where are Goten and Trunks?"

"They had dates."

I'm 100% sure it's Toyble's art. Goku's lean upper arm and poorly drawn hands correspond to his style. Also Toriyama is far better at drawing creases of clothes.

Nice to see confirmation that Gokuu and Vegeta are indeed being trained. I guess Whis got bored while Beers was sleeping?

Even with the new staff page there doesn't seem to be much new information at all!

Ok thanks.
But this time, Toyble really tried to reach the Toriyama style on this one.
