Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

I'm really curious about what kind of role Beerus will play in this movie. Whis has apparently been training Goku and Vegeta while Beerus slept, so how will Beerus contribute to the story, exactly? My only conclusion is that he fights Freeza, even though King Cold told Freeza never to mess with the god of destruction. I could just see Freeza getting cocky like that and fighting Beerus anyway.

Hopefully but based on the poster I doubt they'll have anything to do with Freeza.

If Freeza finds them before Goku and Vegeta return from their training with Whis, it won't be good.

Toriyama probably won't kill them off but with him having Freeza kill his own men I'm not going to rule it out.

There's still chance for them to revive with the dragon balls since it will be their first death.

Also, looking at the cast/staff page, where it says Nozawa Masako she's just addressed for Goku and Gohan's roles, so maybe thats a confirmation sign

That would be well within the arrogance and vein of Frieza's character.

It's more likely that Beerus will attack Freeza, he'll be pissed cause Goku & Vegeta's training disrupt his sleep, so when he learns that Freeza is on Earth and could destroy his Pudding-Planet, he will be super pissed.

A question for the pros:

I had a hard time to determine if this illustration from the V-Jump was drawn by Toriyama or Toyble ?! I'm still not sure.

I'm 100% sure it's Toyble's art. Goku's lean upper arm and poorly drawn hands correspond to his style. Also Toriyama is far better at drawing creases of clothes.

I also saw those details...But still I don't find sufficient evidence to be sure. I find it very strange that in this illustration Toyotaro imitating the style of Toriyama and within the comic use his own style.

I think it's safe to say that nobody is gonna die, permanently at least, unless the ending of the manga gets retconned again.

I think the Oracle Fish tells Whis that if Beerus fights Freeza he will die, which is why he's training Goku and Vegeta to fight him instead... I also think Beerus joins the fight anyway when Goku and Vegeta start to lose and uses a suicide destruction attack, fulfilling the Oracles prophecy

If Goten and Trunks aren't in the movie, I will be very disappointed. Especially for Trunks, though. For him not to be in the movie, the character who actually KILLED Frieza... what a waste that would be. I still can't wrap my head around that idea though, especially since Frieza clearly states that he won't be satisfied until he kills both of the Saiyans who put him to shame.

Really? Since before even Frieza was announced, I've been saying that Beerus will die. (If that ends up being true, I'm totally not going to let my friends who've been saying he WON'T die live that down... haha ) I can totally see that prophecy being fulfilled.

I've been saying the same thing too, and if it does happen, maybe Freeza is purified and reincarnated as the next God of Destruction. I'm sure if Beerus is the one to kill off Freeza with a suicide destruction attack, Goku and Vegeta are going to want the chance to fight him again, and that would give them the opportunity.

This is of course all wild speculation, but it would explain some details, like Goku and Vegeta being trained and fighting Freeza instead of Beerus.
