I don't really understand why Krillin is described as the strongest human!
I think it's just because Kururin is more popular than Tenshinhan so Toriyama said he's the strongest.
At the tournament, Yamsha doesn't even know Tenshinhan' true power cause he hasn't seen him for 7 years.
After Cell's death, Tenshinhan didn't stop training while Kuririn did!
Even Buu-Gotenks told that Tenshihan was pretty strong!
"Based on the way “Battle of Gods” ended, I figured they were definitely going to make a sequel sooner or later, but I never thought it would be so soon."
Just like me Nozawa lady. Its their job to tease the fanbase and I'm really interest to see what happens with Freeza in this movie.
After the character updates, I would be lying if I said I din't start doubting that Goten and Trunks wont really be in this movie. I guess there will be more updates later with Freeza, sorbet and Tagoma, but how the well Oracle Fish is confirmed first than those two?! Even though they had miraculously new older looks, its strange they are keeping them in secret, because despiste that most of the gang is already there.
If they don't appear in the next trailer, they are out.
-Krillin the strongest earthling-
This is a fact since 1994. But you can start a war for this too.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.
Favourite old DB Animators: Masaki Sato and Tadayoshi Yamamuro

Tenshinhan was always stronger than Krillin... I don't see how Toriyama can see the opposite
How do you know that he wasn't training with #18? Training with a partner always gives better results.
The fact that Tenshinhan is stronger than Kuririn is a fact that few forget(including AT). You can tell in the Buu saga how strong he got. AT is at the point in his life that if he doesn't do the proper research than he is going to make a lot of RETCON worthy mistakes.
Where do I sigh? Totally agree with you, I tired of Toriyama forgeting important stuff
Bullza wrote:Krillin couldn't even cut Nappa in half, his only success with the move has been cutting off a bit of Freeza's tail. Tenshinhan at least has hit someone with his move.
The Tri-beam failed against Nappa even though be was hit dead on, and it only managed to stall Cell. If Nappa had been hit head on with the Destructo Disc, he would have been beheaded. The only time it's failed was in the anime against Cell and against Majin Buu, though it still managed to cut through him.
Krillin is stronger than Tien, and this is the way it has been ever since Toriyama decided so.
On an off note, have you noticed that the first five characters on the character page of the official site are the ones who fought Frieza on Namek? That's pretty vool to me.
Question: Why does "Tien" become Tenshinhan when posting but other names like Krillin remain?

Tien being stronger than Krillin was never a fact confirmed by anybody. It was just something that some fans believed was fact.
Krillin > Tien. Straight from Toriyama himself. End. Of. Story. Now lets move on.

Tenshinhan wasn't always stronger than Krillin. There has been nothing to indicate that. In fact, since the battle against Vegeta, Krillin's power level skyrocketed and it was Tenshinhan playing catch up. Krillin's last recorded power level was 75,000 and he only grew stronger, whereas Tenshinhan's strength, since after the Freeza arc, has always been left too vague to draw to a conclusion as to how strong he was.
Krillin > Tenshinhan. Get over it.
Oh really? And where is your source about that 75,000 PL that Krillin has?
Tien is indeed stronger at Saiyan Saga till the Android Saga, he stopped Cell for a brief moment, he could stop for a moment Super Boo (Gotenks Absorbed) too
Tien was training all that time gap between Cell and Boo if he wasn't stronger than Krillin at the moment, he easily surpassed him at time
Bullza wrote:Krillin couldn't even cut Nappa in half, his only success with the move has been cutting off a bit of Freeza's tail. Tenshinhan at least has hit someone with his move.
Krillin couldn't cut Nappa in half because Vegeta told him to dodge the attack, because even Vegeta knew Nappa couldn't tank the Kienzan. It would have could his head off. Whereas Nappa tanked the Tri-Beam and Semi Perfect Cell suffered zero damage from Tenshinhan's most powerful variant of the Tri-Beam.
The point is he still missed, if it was slow enough for Nappa to dodge after being warned then Tien who knows about it would never get hit by it.
It may not have hurt Cell but it did push him back which a direct punch to the face from #16 couldn't do. The same move on Krillin would kill him instantly and he least has a track record of hitting people with it.
For all this talk of whose stronger either of them could kill easily one shot the other.

DEEEERP. That wins me the typo of the day award, right?
As for Yamcha's line in the manga, can someone remind us specifically what he says? It's not that I doubt what was said so much as I'm wondering if it's tournament exclusive (which would mean it's arguably possible for Tenshinhan to be exempt).

It's the same with the movie poster, save Togoma and Sorbet, and on the manga cover. It has me hopeful that they will play some more major role than the other minor characters, especially since Piccolo is fighting for the first time since Cell (Beerus vs Z fighter's doesn't count; he didn't take the cape off)

Being stated as a fact in the franchise doesn't mean that it can't be discussed if its what makes most sense.

And you're missing my point. The Tri-Beam has a shitty record of actually doing damage against the character it has been used against. Whereas the Kienzan has actually done some serious damage against the majority of the opponent it has been used against. Hell, many other characters copied Krillin's technique because of it effectiveness.
