Kaiser been putting himself through the wringer all last year, and is now going through health issues, likely trying to get this movie done. You want TFS so bad there's a whole archive waiting to be binged.
Da fuck? Is this directed at me? I can wait for them to put out a new episode. Besides they put out other daily content anyways that holds me over. Even before that I was fine with waiting as I know they'll come out with something good.
The post was to show why we aren't getting it this month. I'd be fine waiting another 3 months if that's what it took. TFS bring the goods and they always do a good job meeting most peoples expectations, including mine.
...wtf.
No, you provided information, why would I attack you? But that was my fault, since I didn't quote anyone before hand.

I hope that clears up everything. My comments, for them.

Ah ok. Glad it's just a misunderstanding.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
I didn't even realize it was due out this month, just soon, so no problem for me. Take whatever time you guys need and get better first, that's what's really important.
So on another note, I know I've said I'm not really much of a Let's Play watcher, but had watched part of one of the Butouden ones (Butouden 3, I think? Bojack was in it, I know that much) on a whim and enjoyed it well enough...so after hearing tell of the Xenoverse one and since there's so much more potential to this game, I decided to give the two episodes of that one a try. And I was not disappointed. Dumplin might not be the hero we needed, but he's the hero I wanted.

Just saw episode 2 of XV Let's Play; Piccolo's "What was that?" in reaction to Dumplin'. XD
This is both a lot of fun to watch and a helpful walkthrough.

Technically they already did World's Strongest before they were TFS, but I'm assuming they'll redo it the way they redid Dead Zone
I know that the original Dead Zone abridged is a nostalgia/guilty pleasure, and it is understandable why it was hated by MasokoX and Lanipator. But World's Strongest Abridged was amazing. Far better jokes than Dead Zone, and Lanipator killed as Kochin. If TFS tackles World's Strongest...Let there be more than one callback to the original...And Cane Laser has to be in the new one or I riot.

Read the last page. Health issues have delayed it.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words? Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up! Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes! Cold World (Fanfic) "It ain't never too late to stop bein' a bitch." - Chad Lamont Butler
Been following DBZA for a while. Maybe not since the very beginning, but pretty early on. I think I caught wind of it around their 10th or 11th episode. I know the Saiyan arc was complete by then. But anyway, that was at least six years ago and I really appreciate how far this fandub has gone. Everything from the writing, the voice acting, and the editing is A+ material. This may sound a bit crazy but I almost prefer TFS's cast over the Funimation Kai cast. It's gotten to the point where I read parts of the manga and I hear MasakoX's Goku in my head instead of Schemmel's. Not knocking Schemmel's voicing talent, of course. I love him as Goku, I've just really grown accustom to MasakoX, which is really strange to me because I didn't always like his take on Goku.
That being said, I absolutely love how all the characters are handled. I love that the crew either decides to really put emphasis on particular character traits or go a completely different direction with the character, though most are characterized by the former. Goku is incredibly dumber than he is depicted in the original. Gohan has pretty serious neglectful issues with his dad. Piccolo is lonely and ironically he is later cursed with two voices in his head that won't go away (Genius). Vegeta is basically the same except he's even more of a prick. Krillin gets rekt on the regular. Yamcha is the butt of everyone's joke if Krillin isn't. The relationship between Tien and Chaozu is questionable and pretty damn funny. Freeza is a classy, freaky alien genotype. Cell is just damn scary...and immature. My favorite characterization thus far is Popo. Mr. Popo is so great because his treatment shows that TFS is not afraid to take creative liberties. Making him the most powerful in the universe? The irony is not lost.
