Taiketsu!
Kidding.
Anyway, I'd say the Budokai series. From what little I've played of each, it just seems more intricate and enjoyable than Sparking.

Its a tie between Butoden2 and Hyper Dimension. *cross fingers for a remake of both*

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Super DBZ can be considered a "spiritual" successor to Hyper Dimension.
I like the Dragon Ball Z games made by Dimps so far. It just seems they are
the best for Dragon Ball games. They proved it with Dragon Ball Z 3 & Advance Adventure. I never liked Spikes series of games for the lack of facial expressions, akward camera angles, & controls. I would rather have fluid animation & facial expressions over a definitive look & character battle damage any day. Though all would be best. I can not really comment on the Butoden series since I was not a fan of that day & age.

Haipa Daimensionnu!
Hyper Dimension rules all, best character design and sound, effects etc. for being a Super NES game.
I have the Budokai 1 and 2 games, and they don't feel like Dragonball Z to me. Haipa Dimensionnu had that unique movepool for the characters, while Budokai just had the same shit for all characters, the same combos and just one (sometimes two) unique attack for a greater character.

Good people last longer!

Super dbz isn't more a series than ub22 or DBZ lengends, so if you put super dbz there, I'd say DBZ Legends.Sun_Wukong wrote:Out of Sparking, Budokai, Super, and Butoden. which is your favorite?

I understand that in Sparking! there could be tactical ways to defeat an enemy rather than pressing one button in a continous motion (though that is pretty much optional in the game itself), but just didn't feel like a DBZ game despite the whole 3rd person perspective. Everything just feels....meh. Like another forum member has mentioned, "Dragon Ball Z 3" is the only game so far where I felt like I was playing DBZ. From the slick presentation to the ki effects & fluid animations. Everything just felt right.

And it's not like Sparking didn't have repetitive animationsRocketman wrote:Including watching the same animations over and over (Dragon Rush).Sebastian (SB) wrote:From the slick presentation to the ki effects & fluid animations. Everything just felt right.
