Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I'm wondering, why is CGI getting some flack here? I understand some may just not like it, but why? I personally thought the Goku/Beerus CGI scenes were beautiful.

They really weren't.

Because regularly animated DB has absolutely zero still frames that look bad. Nope. Not one.

Because he's a fun, interesting, likable character, something that far outweighs how his imaginary numbers stack up against other characters' imaginary numbers.

This tv ad really brings the hype again. I was not happy with Freeza new form color scheme , but I'm already fine again thanks to this.
The song seems catchy, Jaco is confirmed (maybe Tights too) and if this isn't Vegeta movie, he won't never have one.

The shot more interesting is still Beerus and Whis. Wonder what they are talking about.

So, Freeza. To be honest, I'm not excited about the new form. At all. Then again, I don't hate it either. I guess. My thought process was pretty much this: "So this is Freeza's new form ....ok then. Moving on".
But also, I'm not exactly surprised. Besides the colors (Which I agree about them not mixing well together), I thought Freeza's new form wouldn't be too drastic and I wasn't mistaken.
The truth of the matter is, we are dissecting everything because we're desperate to see the movie. So I'm willing to bet, when the movie comes out, if it's awesome, our thoughts of Freeza's new form will be just an afterthought.
I can see why people would be unhappy, and I agree with what some of you are saying, BUT I love Battle of Gods and I love Dragon Ball Minus, so for now, I'll trust Toriyama.
And also, after years of seeing fan made stuff, focusing only on the action, and the muscles, and the "macho" part of Dragon Ball, it's fun to see Toriyama taking the reigns of the series once again, and throwing the fans into a tizzy

Seriously this could pass off as "original the character do not steal". Why can't we have designs that try to be cool and different looking. Freeza's jump to True form was amazing. He looked so cool from his previous forms, I'd totally buy it as his ultimate form.....Speaking of which.

Because its merely an example. If I could put a dissection with videos of all the jarring CGI moments of the movie in this topic as easily as I can put a single image showing one singe jarring moment, I would, but its not as easy, is it?

Wayoo this form would fit Lord chilled and the Gold form more King Cold lol. I hope Freeza absorbs that gold form into his 100% form, remains in that form that we always new him with. who knows the gold form might be more fitting in the to future instalments, if they keep going with colourful BOG like direction. So different from Original anime Freeza saga lol. BOG is to colourful.
