It looks like there's a mix of generic fodder henchmen that can be beaten by mass blasts but also super-powered ones, like the Bull guy too. It's not a stretch in the slightest to believe that there are some ultra-strong freaks lurking in certain corners of the universe.

Looks like Gohan will go Super Saiyan to fight this time, and I'm glad because Super Saiyan looks awesome!
The trunks at the beginning is awesome and makes we think of what Kai could have been.
The fights look awesome, and I wonder if they take place on two different planets, Earth and Beerus' Temple.
I can't wait for a dialogue translation.

I'm sure the part of Beerus' Temple is just Beerus' ki blast blasting another moon/planet that is around the Temple.

they can sense ki all the way to the Kai realm so the Z characters would have noticed others specially after Cell and Buu saga. Since multiple times they have been confirmed Goku and Gohan to be strongest in the universe Vegeta. Only ones with them during Buu saga just before Vegetto fusion I guess.

Trailer is GREAT but the intro just goes to show how inferior the animation is nowadays compared to the original episode where Future Trunks killed Freezer. (I guess it's at least better than the episode that was right after that, which I think was by the infamous "Triangle Crap Dude"?)

1. You needed 2 people to actually explain you the joke.
2. No, it isn't. Trunks' sidestory is canon. Final Fantasy sidestories are canon. Many fictional sidestories are canon. Please accept that you are wrong or just don't even waste your time talking to others.
3. It does not matter what you think. Canonicity is a pure thing controlled through the power of law. If Akira Toriyama and Toei want some fully established canonicity they will fully establish it, if not some things are clear and some are undefined. No matter what, you can''t decide. And stop fantasizing about stuff like "this is stronger than that" which was never stated.

if its that, look carefuly before the sky shines, theres a little purple shining point, thats Beerus' ki blast he threw when he sneezed in the first/second trailermaybe because someone,Freeza, was talking about him
