I like Frieza's normal form better, and I wish he would've just gotten God Chi or something and maybe had a better color scheme. But, his new one is nice. I would like it better if the arms were smaller like his normal self.

Their god powers should only affect the color of their auras, not their hair. SSJG looks stupid. Majority seems to agree...

I'm so excited about the trailer! Freeza's new for looks pretty garish, but it doesn't bother me, maybe because I like both of those colors (not really together, but still, it grabs the eye, which I guess serves the purpose of a new form).

I'm so excited for Jaco! He's one of my favorite characters and I've always wanted an OVA or something, so this is great! I'm disappointed that it actually looks like Gohan might get one shotted, oh well. At least he's around! I seriously thought they would retire him for good.

Also, Vegeta looks so badass, it's been a while since I last thought that about him, I'm glad he seems to be doing something more interesting this time than just peddling his Goku rivalry. Definitely intrigued to see how that turns out.

Overall, I'm very excited about the movie, but I think I don't want any more plot spoilers so I'll stay away from info after the screening. I also hate the MomoClo song, but then again, I've never really liked their music even though I'm an idol fan I didn't even like the Sailor Moon song everyone else raved about. Oh well, different strokes for different folk, and at least it's more upbeat and fitting than Kokoro no hane was.

For some reason I can't help but see Goku and Vegeta as Precures in that image. Maybe it's the artstyle, or the coloring used, or something else, but that's the first thought that comes to mind.

So you ridicule the name Golden Frieza but then come up with the alternate name Frieza New Form?

The new form isn't too ugly, it does have some similarity to Coolers design. I still think that that Cooler has the best final form . I love that that the trailer references that Trunks was the one who really killed Freeza. I hope that Freeza makes a remark about it.

Yes it is lame, Super Saiyan is the essence of DBZ... Remember the teaser? Toriyama want us to simply forget about Super Saiyans we used to love to push us to accept those new Mystic Saiyans and taking Gohan title making him look like a pussy when he should be one of the strongests in the Universe

A teaser is simply that a teaser. There is far more to the series than just Super Saiyans which we saw almost non stop since their introduction. If he wanted you to forget about them then Gohan wouldn't be turning Super Saiyan in this movie nor would they have been featured so prominently in the last movie.

Gohan isn't the strongest in the universe anymore. All he ever wanted was to be a scholar.

I see no need to apologize, it's good! The head cap is blue like Cooler's in some shots though, so you may want to make a version with that correction. Also, the skin should be a lighter, shinier golden.

Great job, one complaint though I think he's supposed to be shiny in the gold parts. Not a big deal, but other why's he looks looks a yellow gorilla with a purple chrome dome.

The name sucks it's simply a case of describe what it is visually, which can work but because Freeza's new form looks super tacky being shining gold and all, it doesn't in this case for me.

We see him trying to stop Freeza's huge energy attack so I think he'll use the form to absorb it in the same way he did against Beerus' which drains his power and gives Freeza the advantage.

He is giving us one that looks like a 17 year old Gohan rather than adult Gohan, kid Gohan was more muscled up lol. Everyone in the latest instalments look anorexic hope that is not the latest Trent in Japan, Like ma women to have some meat on their rear umm body XD.

I was a little surprised, too. The name was one of the very first things covered in yesterday's update on the main page. I didn't think so many people would only be reacting to it just now. But I suppose I should remind myself that it's only been one day since all this news broke, even if it feels like we've all been talking/debating about this crap for a week now.

I completely missed that it's name was 'Golden Freeza' too, but like a lot of us, I think I was too busy taking in the trailer's footage and reading the translated dialogue, to pick up on other notes about it. ^_^; That said, I don't have a problem with the name really other than going 'Huh...' for a second, cuz as others have pointed out...it's not like Dragon Ball transformation names have ever been that deep anyway. 'Super' this or that, throw a number on there, 'Second Form, 'Full Power', etc. Heck, doesn't even 'oozaru' pretty much just mean 'giant ape' or something?

With the whole "Kyūkyoku no shinka: Gōruden Furīza" that the site/V-Jump uses to refer to Freeza's transformation/evolution I totally want him to (warp digi-)evolve with Brave Heart (Digimon's digievolution insert song) in the background.

Oh man, do not tempt me. You do not know how badly I want a Koji Wada song in Dragon Ball eventually.

Like it or not, that tends to be Toriyama's art style nowadays, though it's worth pointing out that that's not even Toriyama's artwork, it's Toyotaro's. That and, it's likely that his movie self will look a little more like we're used to anyway.

No point in complaining about Golden Freeza. Soon after 5 minutes he'll absorb the realm of that power into his true form. Then we'll have the cool looking Freeza again, and just like god form, this form will disappear and return into video games only.
