Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

Not only that, he as inorganic robotic parts too
But since they never explained why Raditz had his body or Freeza in the Buu ark (anime) ...I have no idea lol
I don't mind the inorganic robot parts, its just the whole "its a part of his body" thing. Him being unable to come back from ashes would be kept in line with the bodies being preserved in the capsules in the King Piccolo arc. And I guess the whole keeping his body thing can be explained by it being a more torturous yet hilarious scenario compared to what Majin Vegeta could've gone through when he died
Hmmmm, this movie takes place roughly 40 years after Jaco, right? I wonder if Omori is still alive. This is something I'm really curious about seeing, actually.

Or maybe 3... one strictly for new info, and one for discussion (without spoilers), another for discussion (with spoilers).
The front page of the site is strictly for new info. This thread is for discussion. Anything to discuss comes from the new information we get. We'd have three different threads talking about the exact same things. And "spoilers" vary from person to person. People just need to stay focused.
I don't mind seeing some fans get creative, but for the love of God, stop quoting that huge image just to post a one-sentence reply.

This or the new Detective Conan movie?
My heart says Revival Of F
My head says Detective Conan.

Akira Toriyama wrote:My policy is to try and forget things once they’re over. Since if I don’t discard the old and focus on what’s new, I’ll overload my brain capacity. I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

Kunzait_83 wrote:And if you're upset because all this new material completely invalidates the tabletop RPG rulebook-sized statistical system and flowchart for the characters' "canonical Power Levels" that you'd been working on painstakingly for the last bunch of years now... well I don't think there's a kind, non-blunt way of saying this, but that's 100% entirely your own misguided fault for buying so deeply into all this nonsensical garbage in the first place. And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

I'm very surprised they decided to release this against "Sunflowers Of Inferno." Yeah, I get it. Whoo-hoo, Golden Week. But it's a decision that will likely result in fewer ticket sales for both films. "Battle Of Gods" had three weeks at the box office before "Private Eye In The Distant Sea" had a chance to steal any of its thunder. I'm very curious to see how this plays out.

I see something about 640-650 screens but that couldn't be Revival of F's screen count could it? Battle of Gods only had 312 screens according to BOM.
"In the most recent "Dragon Ball Z" April 18 published. Advance tickets in early February time has remained in the previous work (3 billion yen) ratio of 30% increase, this time "aimed at 4 billion yen" that (Mr. Muramatsu). I publish any IMAX3D and 4DX. 640 ultra-expanding published in ~ 650 screen scale, Golden Week make a game with two of the "House of the Queen" (published April 25)"

Yeah, Omori would be about 107 depending on exactly when this movie is set. At that age, he could very well be dead. Though when it comes to background characters, sometimes I feel like age is only a number to Toriyama. We have a decent number of characters by the time we reach the Buu Arc and beyond that are well within the realm of death being a natural possibility...and yet most of them don't look any different from the day they were introduced, with some even appearing younger than members of the main cast. xD
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
My personal "canon" and BP list. (Coming Soon)

I saw that but couldn't make heads or tails of what it meant. Babylon's translation says this
"I am most recent, and [Dragon Ball Z] shows it on April 18. I increase by previous work (3 billion yen) ratio 30%, and the advance ticket changes at a point in time in the beginning of February and says [for 4 billion yen] (Muramatsu) this time. I show even IMAX3D and 4DX. I show super expansion on 640-650 screen scales and take a game in two of them with [the building of the queen] (an April 25 exhibition) for the Golden Week."
So does mention something about a super extension. That'd be twice as many screens as Battle of Gods so I find that dubious because that screen count is usually reserved for the really big movies like what Disney come out with.
