Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

There's no rule saying Uub couldn't have gotten a good kick in. As people have said before, you're too focused on things like BL and "Who is stronger than who". Even if, at the end of the day, Goku was stronger than Uubs level at that tournament, that doesn't mean Uub couldn't have gotten a good kick in there. And Uub got that kick in after he was riled up by Goku, so it was pretty much in a fit of rage he got that burst of power. It was done to show the potential that he had.

But, I don't really see it being explained in any movies. Because it doesn't really matter. It's a minuscule detail that could simply be explained as "Uub was made angry so he got a quick power boost, exposing some of his potential.". Outside of the universe the explanation is that the ending was written years ago. God Form, Beerus, and all that wasn't even a thought back then. It's being written now as a fun/interesting way to bring back Dragon Ball. If you're expecting him to go in and tie up all these loose ends, you're just going to be disappointed.

I'm not saying about the kick itself... But in Goku current God level (after BoG, RoF) in EoZ he would have no problems at all with a untrained reincarnation of Kid Boo not even excited or else.

Well, on contrariwise, no... I wouldn't be disappointed, I would be happy if RoF and future movies contradicts what is stated in EoZ that would make they difficult to fit in the story canon

I still think Freeza shoudl've went to Makai to train there and battle demons until he got his potential released by a Makaioshin.
I think Makai is the only place in DB that we've yet to see.

We've seen it when Gohan was battling Dabura.

I absolutely like both of the characters and couldn't imagine this movie without them. I'm just afraid that they'll not interfere at all and will just be spectators in the movie.I would loooove to see Beerus vs Freeza.

I forgot about this, one of the scenes I'm most hyped to see is Goku & Vegeta training with Whis.

- The means Freeza uses to become so much stronger in such a short period.

Well, like I said, we still don't know whether or not he became stronger just by training and whether or not it took him only 4 months to do it.

- Gohan turning SSJ, and likely being made a bitch.

We haven't seen much of Gohan, he does turn SSJ and he is seen unconscious, but more facts are needed before I have my opinion on that. There is still a chance that he puts a good fight against Freeza before being knocked out, and that he will have some important and cool fights with Freeza's henchmen.

- Freeza being aware of Majin Buu.

For me this is neither a bad or a good thing. It is a little weird that he knows about him and Beerus, but then again, Freeza is so arrogant that it is totally in his character to say during his Arc that he is the strongest in the Universe. Remember Vegeta saying to Goku how he was the strongest in the Universe? Villains tend to be arrogant in DB, so to me it's no big deal.

Aren't Goten and Trunks the only ones who beat Broly twice?

Dabra and Kaioshin are. There's no indication either of them trained, though they could have. On the other hand, there are several indications that Freeza trained. So even saying that everyone besides those guys is naturally weaker than him is really reaching. Goten and Trunks were many times more powerful than him at the very beginning of the Buu arc, despite the fact that we have every reason to believe that they trained less. He's way older than them, he knows tons of ki techniques while they don't, he's a skilled hand to hand and aerial fighter while they're not, and he sparred with his father (and got some dust on him) while they didn't.

Training to increase your power is different than training to control your current power.
