So what happened to masters helping you fight in game? I remember early on I had Piccolo and I think Vegeta suddenly come out of nowhere saying they want to help their student, but then later I never have this happen again.

If you have an ultimate used by your current master, then they will occasionally appear and make it stronger, like Goku did for Gohan at the Cell Games.

Also, if you do a PQ with your current master as a partner, they will comment on your training during the event. I'd assume this happens for Quest Allies as well, which is what I think happened to you.

No I mean they will randomly just jump into your game as another support character. Early on I had Piccolo and Vegeta jump in as support. Someone even comments on Cell jumping into save them on a long quest when he wasn't selected as a partner I believe. I think it's when your health is low there is a chance your mentor will join you in battle. I don't quite get how it works.

Hello Time Patrollers!
Read on for the latest Dragon Ball XENOVERSE updates:
Online Services:
- Player Match (1v1, 2v2, 3v3) are functioning properly on all platforms. This mode is accessible from ‘Player Match Online’ desk in Toki Toki City.
- Multi Lobbies and Single Lobbies functioning properly on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and we are still continuing to work on improvements on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC/Steam.
Please note that your network status can also affect the server connection.
Compatibility Patch 1.02:
- On March 10th, we will release Dragon Ball GT Pack 1 compatibility patches for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
- This patch will ensure compatibility with the new content of the DLC Pack 1 to be released soon and will improve several issues as you can read below.
- We will have new details regarding the online events in the comings weeks!
To implement this update, we will be conducting server maintenance during the following times:
March 10th 5:30PM to 9:00 PM JST
March 10th 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM CET
March 10th 1:30 AM to 5:00 AM PDT
Full Patch Notes
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
-Added data for Dragon Ball GT Pack 1
-Fixed English dialog and subtitle inconsistencies
-Fixed issue where "Reversal" evaluation could not be earned in Quests
-Fixed issue where some materials could not be earned in Quests
-Fixed issue where player could not be revived from downed state
-Implemented online event functionality
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Even though there's a lot of stuff messing up, it's good to know they're trying to make it right. Plus, it's barely been a month since release (2 weeks since the worldwide release which, from what I've heard, is when the problems started).
Glad to see the online issues will be resolved soon. I'm one of the unlucky ones that can't connect online and have only done so 2 times. I don't like grinding quests alone and I want to test my level 80 saiyan against others(I won't spam in PVP). I'm on Xbox One.
Heroes come and go, but legends are forever.

60.

Rest in peace.

No idea if this has been posted here, but I found a fix to the crash that occurs after you beat the Cell Jrs with Krillin, Tehnshinhan and Yamcha. There was a solution from a website that recommended verifying your game cache with Steam and then running the game in "default" quality settings. While the game looked like ass, the fix worked and I was finally able to make progress without crashing. I then restored the quality settings to maximum and the game worked fine afterwards. I'm mentioning this just in case any of you run into that bug on the PC platform.

What I have so far. I still need to model the mask, adjust the armor, model the shoes, set up the materials and textures. Not sure if got the gloves right or not.
I make 3D models and mod video games.

Those mods look really good, I'm impressed with how quickly you've created them!

Also, I'm having a weird issue with my controller. I use a Logitech F710 which was working perfectly until last night, when it stopped responding. I downloaded new drivers and got it to work again, but now that it has the proper Logitech drivers, all the buttons in-game have been replaced with numbers instead of things like "right trigger" "a/x/y/b" etc. It's a real pain in the ass because I don't know what the numbers correspond to, and have to go off what I remember of the controls (which is fine in combat but can make some menus confusing). Does anyone know how to restore the proper buttons showing up in-game?
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

That happened to me. Actually pretty embarrassing, I was grinding for stuff when someone got a lucky hit on me, reduced my life my life by half, then Cell comes out of nowhere. I was like "what are you doing, I can handle it!"

Can anyone find it in their heart to perhaps gift me the Spirit Sword ultimate? I don't care if I gotta run every PQ in the game with you for it.

Does anyone know when Jaco is going to become available as DLC?

I thought he was a preorder bonus but apparently not?

Is there any point to multiples of gear and Z souls? Other than selling them to vendors. As far as I know your characters all share the same moves and equipment.

Yes but only one character at a time can equip them. If you have only 1 Vegetto outfit then only 1 character will be able to wear it. Try putting it on someone else and the outfit wont show up.

I just want three ults...

Spirit Sword, Saiyan Spirit, and Super Electric Strike.

I have played their respective PQ's at least 20 times each at this point and not only do I not get the ult, I can't even get into the Ultimate Finish sections.

Have you gotten S ranks or highers for the respective PQ's?

6/10 from Gamespot: http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/dragon- ... 0-6416054/

So critics are mixed on the game while the fanboys love it. I notice DBZ fans on other websites are hating on IGN and Gamespot for their reviews on XV.
