Yeah... I was really confused. Like Herms mentioned, the title is "snappier", but now its meaning is too vague.

Perhaps the addition of a colon would have helped? Resurrection: F as opposed to just Resurrection F?

Though, looking at Funi's page, the title technically appears to be Resurrection 'F' with the F in single quotes.

I just don't get it. American comics and movies do it all the times. What counts is how you use that character to create a good and entertaining story without it boiling down to mere fanservice. I understand why people may feel FnF, in particular, is shaping up to be like a fanfic, but i've been seeing this argument since Freeza was announced to be coming back.-.-

I don't get it neither. I mean Batman is known to fight The Joker many times, Superman always tend to fight Lex and Zod, Spider-Man is always known to fight The Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Venom and Godzilla is always known to fight King Ghidorah and Mecha Godzilla. I see no problem bringing back Freeza when Goku has not fought Freeza since Namek. It been so long since Goku has fought against Freeza.

As long as there's a good explanation for how the villain came back and how he's able to fight the good guys, it can be done and done well.

Here's what I'm curious about...they managed to get this movie very damn fast this time around, compared to BoG (I mean, just getting it now would be fast, but they didn't just get it now--they're announcing it now, but they got it even earlier). How was it so much faster this time around?

A third movie should exist just for the experience of being able to see a Dragon Ball movie on theater. Well... At least for those who were born after 1995. Specially in my country, only two (or three) movies made their way to the cinemas. And speaking of my country, you guys are lucky as hell, it looks like we will receive this movie in October... Really sad and annoying, isn't?

I don't really think of the new translation as vague, but I guess I understand the criticism. You probably wouldn't get away with translating "Fukkatsu No Fusion" as "Resurrection Fusion," but I think the use of quotes around "F" is enough to make it work. I get what they're going for.

Not saying it should be done, I'm saying it can be done well as long as there's a good explanation for how it's happening or it helps make a more compelling story. Freeza's seems kind of half-assed for now, but if his return gives good character & story possibilities, the how is gonna seem less important, at least for me that is.
