Thinking about it now yea Dragonball Z was my first, my uncle introduced it to me during the Freeza saga and I was hooked! Then it was Sailor Moon, Gundam, and anyone remember Zoids? That was a big one for me.

Considering the fact that I was said to have watched with my uncle when I was 2 years old, yes. It was my shit as a child. My top three as a young child (4 years old) was probably 1. DBZ, 2. Blues Clues, 3. Any one of those Disney live actions from the late 90's-early 00's. It was what also got my family to believe I was a huge anime/manga fan, which I was not. I really only liked Dragon Ball Z, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Yu Yu Hakusho(second favourite at the time and still in my top 5). Note that I was so young I could not notice how mad Funi's early material was  I did not really grow a genuine affection for anime and manga outside of a couple (Dragon Ball, Inuyasha, and Akira) until recently with Kiseijuu/Parasyte, Full Metal Alchemist, and Monster.

I think Voltron would have been my first anime, but I can't remember if I actually saw it or just had the toys. If not for that, then it would be Pokemon.

Then there was Digimon and Sailor Moon before Dragon Ball. I always knew they were Japanese due to an Australian kid's magazine called k-zone.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Nope. I watched Robotech and Voltron as a toddler. I don't remember much about Robotech (though my dad was a big fan), but I loved Voltron. Later I saw those two koala anime a few times.

I saw Akira around the same time I first saw DBZ in syndication (1996-ish), but I'm not sure which came first. And then I was a Pokemon fan before I actually became a Dragon Ball fan.

Moomin was my first anime, that show was actually kind of creepy.

Dragon Ball was definitely my first manga though!

When Dragon Ball Z first aired in the UK for some reason I connected it to Pokemon, both looked the same but totally different. I couldn't put my finger on it, I figured it was just made by the same people. Then Gundam Wing and Tenchi Muyo started airing on Toonami.

Nope: Pokemon was my first Anime, unfortunately. I say unfortunately because that Series in its entirety has long past jumped the shark in my eyes: the English dub especially is downright unbearable in the newer seasons, but that's a different topic altogether.

I think Dragonball Z was second, and third was Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.

Nope. The Jungle Book Anime and Stuff like 'The Genie Family', while not knowing that they were Animes. Realising this later was somewhat Mind = Blown Material, while it made oddly sense at the same Time

Pokemon was my first anime. I was like... in first grade, I think? Looking back on it, it's not too great, lol, but I still watch the old episodes every now and again for the nostalgia factor.

I can understand why: I feel like the old episodes actually felt like Ash and company were, you know, going somewhere, and Takeshi Shudo wrote really well for the Series in terms of making it a family show for everyone, IMO. Pokemon actually felt a lot like Dragonball Z as a kid to me, if only more episodic and toned down, but then Dragonball Z was my second anime after it.

I can't remember my first anime, but the only one out of them I really still watch today is Dragon Ball.
