Of course. Legitimate criticism is welcome. I don't really like these news as well. But I'm not insulting the whole movie for that, especially because we still know very little about it.

Is it really all that legitimate when it's still mostly uniformed? We've barely seen anything that speaks toward the quality of the film, and most of what we've seen has been through the filter of a simple, abridged manga adaptation that cuts out scents and dialogue that could help clarify the story and was ultimately unnecessary to begin with.

I'd rather be cautiously optomistic than continuously and unnecessarily dour.

Yamcha’s Epilogue:
Like you, KenKoba, he has the dilemma of loving women but not being good around them, so he is still wandering blindly in search of the ideal partner he won’t be nervous around. He’s even worked in a host club, but because of his nervousness, it didn’t go well and he was fired. His livelihood is mainly working together with Pu’er as a freelance bodyguard, but he occasionally goes to Tenshinhan’s to help with the farm, as well.

Tenshinhan’s Epilogue:
Stoic Tenshinhan mainly does farming in addition to his training. He can split into multiple bodies and grow extra arms, so harvesting the crops goes quickly. He was found by Lunch, who fell in love with him at first sight and had been constantly pursuing his whereabouts, and even reluctantly lived together with her; but she wasn’t cut out for farming, and Tenshinhan has no interest in romance, so she left after just a few days. After that, it seems Lunch apparently stops in from time to time.

Chiaotzu’s Epilogue:
Naturally, he helps out with farming together with Tenshinhan, but his work utilizing his telekinetic powers has a reputation for its efficiency, and he is hired at an expensive rate by farmers nearby, so he apparently has a surprisingly large amount of money saved away.

Never thought I'd actually see Toriyama call back to this arbitrary information after doing nothing with the Makaioshin info.

Lol the criticism i've seen in this thread is so primitive. "Goten and Trunks not showing up because Bulma ordered them not to know? How dare they, what terrible choices, this movie is terrible and Akira should stop making dragon ball."

Damn. Goten and Trunks must be really important to some people. Saying their inclusion is vital to the film lacks insight and constructive criticism. Its also too soon to assume the sons of Goku and Vegeta won't even make an appearance in the film, do you honestly expect Toei to show off everything in the film?

I guess to meet these obnoxious standards some people hold, they might as well hold a conference showing off everything in the film since everybody is so judgmental on a film that hasn't even been released.

Wow, let's not bring people who'd be worth a million Tenshinhan's, Roshi's, Krillin's, and Bulma's. The earth is in grave danger and since apparently the mooks are a big threat for some reason, let's just make things harder by not bringing power houses because why not? Especially not Boo who could basically lift Freeza's entire army, and turn them into Candy like he once did to a whole city.

Now I'll say again because people for some reason have a boner kill if someone hates anything on this movie. THIS IS NOT A DEAL BREAKER! Seriously it's fucking stupid, but it's not going to kill my enjoyment of the movie. Maybe some people have their minds set to hate this movie, but I don't. I'm going to enjoy this movie most likely, but that doesn't mean the details aren't fucking stupid. My plan is to already enjoy the movie for what is, but I'm still gonna call bullshit when there's no good reason for going with these choices.

On a positive note if Tagoma is alive, YEEEEES! Thank you. Seriously if he just died early that'd be stupid. No point of having him just to be killed off real quick. Maybe he'll warn the earthlings. Maybe he'll plan to thwart Freeza. I dunno. I hope he does something instead of sucking Freeza's tail after that. Though it would make sense if he had to still do that anyways since Freeza is out of his league.

Was the Tarble manga different from the movie?

Yes. You may want to check "canon/filler" thread. I think it was there someone pointed out all the differences. Though many are irrelevant, the most notable differences are Tarble's hair and Tenshinhan's appearance.
