Re: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden (3DS)
Y'know this is the second time Butoden 2 will be available for the 3DS (first time was in J Legend Retsuden). By this point you'd think they'd just release a compilation or put all three on Wii U's Virtual Console or something.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Re: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden (3DS)
If it gets localized they'll likely just add a way to get it without those items. For instance, when .hack//GU came out in Japan it would detect if you had a .hack//FRAGMENT save file to give you a little bonus at the start of the game. Well, we never got that here, so instead when you loaded a save file from one of the original four .hack games (which already gave you a bonus) you got the FRAGMENT one as well.ShadowDude112 wrote:So with all this content being first print or needing a save file, I wonder how it'll work if it gets localized.
No they aren't, but there is a browser exploit (that does not work on any New 3DS systems) to allow you to play other regions' games. Mike talked about it on not the most recent podcast episode, but the one beforehand. A little Googling will give you the full run down. And no, this isn't for piracy, it's purpose is purely to be able to play the games you own and overcome the archaic region lock. The S wrote:
Oh wait, that's right. 3DSeseses aren't region free.
Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuck.

It's looking like ssj4 Vegeta will be support only...that sucks.

There's two more pages showing the controls and supports.

Yeah that voids the Nintendo's ToS though. Also it'd probably be patched out sometime within the next year.Haseowolf wrote:

Not like I was gonna buy it anyway. I've got $140,000 meds to save for. I was just hoping that my brother'd get it for me for my birthday.
(Also not to be mean but I'm surprised Kanzenshuu still has a podcast. I haven't heard anybody talk about one since like 2008).

Re: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden (3DS)
Nintendo already disabled the region-free exploit in the latest 3DS firmware update. Given Extreme Butouden comes out in June, I'd guess it'll require a higher firmware than the one that the region-free exploit uses.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Woah that looks really really similar to Super Sonic Warriors 2. I will say that while the myriad of cool support characters is interesting, it does make me feel a bit sad that they won't be playable. Anyways, I hope they don't have a restriction with characters in terms of their levels in team battles, it would be awesome to just go out use multiple over-powered characters in one match.

Are we sure that support characters won't be playable? I want to play as Tenshinhan!

Website update with characters and such

Still no trailer. At this point I don't think it exists.

I highly doubt the game is going to get a trailer consider the game is going to be released in 3 months.TheGameTagerZ wrote:Website update with characters and such

There's a movie tab so it has to have one.Lord Beerus wrote:I highly doubt the game is going to get a trailer consider the game is going to be released in 3 months.TheGameTagerZ wrote:Website update with characters and such

Could be for TV commercials when the game is released. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll get one before then, but we don't have to.

Probably safe to assume we will get at least one trailer before the end of this month or around the movie date.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Could be for TV commercials when the game is released. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll get one before then, but we don't have to.
