woah that stuff looks like a lot of fun! Would love to know what hijinks are happening. I don't know about you guys but I hope Freeza is played for laughs for as much as tastefully possible before shit gets real. I really think he's excellent as a comedic backboard, despite all his seriousness.

So... Where's the significant increase in run time that would happen with their inclusion?
And sure, their role in the movie would be very minor in these conditions, but it beats having lame excuses for their absence, imo. If you must have them missing, at least figure out some satisfactory excuse.

BTW I think the Vegeta will beat Freeza stuff is sadly not a given now...
Now Senzu Bean for Goku... Goku back in action... Or Whis using his go back in time and tadda Goku is back
And I would ahte to ses a double team of godly characters as Vegeta and Goku against Frieza.
Thinking about it... Maybe Whis will use his "small return in time" magic to save Goku from the final blow we have seen... But still Goku will be weakened to give Vegeta the spotlight

If they're in the background, then they're not really "included". Not the way the fans want them to be. And no, having them in the background would be a bigger slap in the face to the people who want them in the movie at all. They want to see them fight. They want them to interact with Freeza. None of which will happen if they're in the background.

Looks like the japanese leaker really did confuse Tagoma with Sorbet like Herms suggested, that's a shame, but indeed I was surprised how Tagoma could have survived, turns out he didn't.
