I love all things Dragon Ball. Even the things I don't necessarily actually love. Except Dragonball Evolution. So yes! Of course!

Yes.
In fact, I intend to see it in theaters, in both Japanese and English.
And both Japan and the US.

Re: Resurrection F poll
Hell yeah, I'll be seeing it, probably more than once. I can't wait to watch it in theatres because it'll be my first time viewing it, unlike BOG, which I've seen a bunch of times before watching it in theatres (It was still a great experience).
To those who are sceptical about watching the film in theatres because you'll feel that there will be people watching the film with you that are annoying, try going on the first day of it's release and try the first session. Do this because that's usually when the dedicated fans go to watch so it's more likely that there won't be anyone there who's a pain. I do it all the time when I want to watch movies that I've been heavily anticipating but don't want to watch it with people who'll be acting ridiculous during the film, it works all the time.

If I can, if it comes out in the UK.
If not, I'll get the first DVD with English subtitles and Japanese audio, though I'd like to hear the dub, I still haven't heard the Battle of Gods dub.

Re: Resurrection F poll
Well I feel obligated to see it no matter what, as a completionist supernerd who likes to collect and document things. But I'm also genuinely excited for F on its own merit.
If there are any other subbed theatrical showings in the US, I would definitely try to go. But I don't see that happening.
Odds are the Japanese Blu-ray will be the first time I see the movie. And ideally I'll watch it right away, and not wait a year and a half like I did with Battle of Gods.

I'm most curious about the scheduling.TripleRach wrote:Odds are the Japanese Blu-ray will be the first time I see the movie. And ideally I'll watch it right away, and not wait a year and a half like I did with Battle of Gods.
If Toei keeps to the release schedule they did for the first film (which is roughly what they've kept to for larger theatrical releases give or take a few weeks) it's actually very likely the American theatrical release could be right around or potentially right before the Japanese BD/DVD release.
Quite curious to see how the release schedule works out for everything out here.

I'll buy it later on DVD/Blu-Ray, just for my collection.

I'm kinda curious on that.RandomGuy96 wrote:No. Though, I wouldn't see any DB movie in theaters, even if it turned out to be good).
And I will probably see it in theaters but I wont buy the DVD or Blu-Ray.

Re: Resurrection F poll
I'll definitely be seeing this in theatres when Madman brings it down here, and from what I've been told it should be this year.
I would never pass up the opportunity to watch my favourite franchise on the big screen. When I was younger I use to dream about seeing a Dragon Ball movie in theatres, and the fact that I'm getting the chance to do it two years in a row is both surreal and immensely satisfying. I might even go twice this year if more than one showing is scheduled in my city. With BOG they added an additional screening after the first one was so successful. Needless to say, it sold out extremely quickly.

Wow dude, you're returning to the US to celebrate the podcasts' 10th anniversary and 400th episode?!SaiyaJedi wrote:Yes.

I'll see it in Theaters like I did Battle of Gods. I got to see it a few days after my birthday, which was cool. I wonder if that will happen again. Hopefully it'll be in the really good theater this time around, because I like sitting in the balcony and getting a meal brought to me for my movie...it's a grand experience, lol.
Man, summer cannot come soon enough.

Yep. And I'm bringing friends. And I'll probably be going three times like I did with Battle of Gods.
Re: Resurrection F poll
It will never get a release in Poland just like BoG never was
I'll try my best to import a Blu-ray down the line as I'm super hyped over Fukkatsu no F.

Re: Resurrection F poll
I didn't know there was current negativity of Revival of F. Freeza's new form is polarizing, sure, but I think most everyone is excited for the film.
I definitely will be seeing it in theaters with my little brother. I'm not really a fan of the FUNi cast, but we saw Battle of Gods in theaters. So, yeah..
I'll watch it in Japanese as soon as I can, but it'll be weird seeing new Dragon Ball dubbed before subbed. But, hey. That Chris Ayres.

My little brother and I will definitely be seeing it; multiple times if possible. We saw Battle of Gods all three times it showed near us.

What negativity? Methinks "Lord Beerus" dislikes the movie that isn't out yet and thinks that his opinion is the popular one. But that's just a guess, I don't know/care. As for me and viewing it? I will go see it in the theater two or three times then buy it when it comes out on blu-ray.Lord Beerus wrote:Given the current negativity around the movie
Remember everyone - the more money they make, the more Dragon Ball Z we get. After the U.S. release Battle of Gods made around $32,000,000 which was their goal for Japanese theater viewings only. But since they had a budget of $500,000 that was a colossal success. If this movie doesn't make their target ($40,000,000) then we may not get another one in 2017 =/

Lord Beerus is actually one of the optimistic people here. lol.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

I'm actually one of the people looking forward to the movie. But given recent revelations via the spin-off manga for the movie, there have been quite a few people who don't seem interested in what Resurrection F is offering.SpiritBombTriumphant wrote:What negativity? Re: Resurrection F poll
Nothing I've seen excites me, especially the lack of the kids but I actually like to know whether I truly dislike something and why so like BoG, which I cared little for, I will go see RoF preferably in theaters if I can.
