The more "popular" games will be out on the day that you are told, but everything else is the day after because the date you are told is actually the shipping date and not the release date.

Well, it's almost noon. I'm heading up to my EB Games to see if they got Sparking! NEO in (I preordered it, so I'm guaranteed a copy).... wish me luck.

EDIT: Picked it up around 1pm. Playing it and loving it, but now I got to go to work... (damn you, work!!) It's also true that there's none of the Japanese music in the game. But the Japanese voices are just fine so far with no glitches. This game feels/looks far more fluid than BT1/Sparking.

I got the game too. The scene in which Yamcha dies looks so (unntentionally) funny with the rest of the crew keeping in their fighting positions and not moving.
Jord doesn't have a avatar because the combination of Jord and a equally cool avatar would cause the universe to implode.

Sparking! NEO is finally in my possesion after 8 months of "patiently" waiting.

I'm very excited.
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

You know Yamcha? Well, it seems that he's a pretty cool guy.

Well, Daimao DID do the translation for the game. He could of mistranslated it on purpose? :D

If that was done on purpose, it is seriously awesome. X3

I just played Sparking NEO for an hour, and I have to say my favorite stage would be the arctic one. Ki blasting your opponent from faraway so they repeatedly fall into the water ala Looney Tunes is great.
On hiatus.

Actually, Daimao said that he was too held up to translate the game, so he wasn't able to. I believe his last video game work was the first Sparking! ... So yeah, maybe Clyde Mandelin or someone at Atari did it this time.

Getting the game during my trip to Chicago tommorow, wish me luck in patience to play it!

The instruction booklet credits Daimao for doing the translation of the game. Mabey Atari just screwed up, who knows. Other than Daimao that is. >_>

I really like the fact that they have specific anime-moves like Vegeta's shoot-Zarbon-through-his-stomach-blast and the Angry Kamehameha. It adds so much to the game.

If anyone is interested in some questions being answered. Siliconera did a little interview thingy.:

"Does the Wii release use the traditional Gamecube controller as an alternative to the Wiimote/nunchuck setup?

Yup, we’d hate for people to have to stop playing because they were exhausted from reenacting Saiyan moves."

That is what I wanted to know.

I thought that has been common knowledge for a while now. (I also love how in video interviews those Atari people try to sound like they made the game while they can't even pronounce a single DBZ term right)

Maybe it has. I never really looked into it. So I came across this and I was like "Oh, well that is good to know."

Oh jeez...I just unlocked Vegetto in the game. In base form he's "Vegito" but transformed he's "Super Vegeto". Apparently he likes to spell his name differently when he transforms, both of which are technically wrong. Well...at least he doesn't call himself Vegerot. :?

Don't even think about that name! :x As for "Vegeto", probably just a typo.
kvon is an alternative name to Kevin

Yeah, I just noticed it's only spelled that way on the Z item description. On the character select screen he's listed as Vegito and Super Vegito.

Oh lordy. The fact that they even brought up the filler fight is painful enough. :(

I got it yesterday and cause I was playing with it till now, all I got to say is wow. This game is awesome! It like they took BT1 and B3 and fused it together! The number of characters + RPG likeness (it feels like I was playing Buu's Fury combind with B3 DU). But the transformation is abit slow, still the pros outweight the cons.
