Fandub Casting: Goku (Looking for Nozawa-esque)

Post by El Diabeetus » Tue Mar 17, 2015 7:56 pm

So, pretty much what that means is for both child and adult Goku. I'm looking for more of a man-child voice. So, believe it or not it will be a female only casting.

Mainly want to do this since Goku's never been done like this before. If you are cast for Goku, odds are you'll be Gohan and Goten as well (and for all ages, at least on Goku).

I enjoy voicing Goku, but want to try something closer to the original. More characters may become available, but only looking for Goku right now.

Speech quirk info: Since Goku is a backwoods hick, his speech quirks will be adapted. So, examples, he may mispronounce words like Times as tames (at least in GT - Jubai = proper, Jubei = Goku or like Daijobu = proper, Deijobu = Goku, will adapt it like wayrry to keep the quirk). Decent amount of ain't in his speech, fer and ta instead of for and to, things of that nature. Dropping g's as well. So, he'd say droppin' instead. Wanna instead of want to, etc.)

Lines:

- 'Sup! I'm Goku!
- I'm a Saiyan, raised on earth.
- This is pretty excitin'!
- I ain't messin' 'round here!

- I am the Super Saiyan, Son Goku! (The line he yells in the last reference video)

(Feel free to add other lines you feel would fit Goku)

Pronunciations/Term Adaptations:

Saiyan - (Sigh-yan, like the ai in Saibaiman)
Son Goku - Sone Go-KUU (like zone with an s and more emphasis on the KUU rather than Go).
Pan - Pawn (Pah-n, Pa like in grandpa)

Videl (Vee-del)
Galactic Overseers (Kaioh)
Godly Universal Overseers (Kaiohshin)
Divine Master / Turtle Hermit (Muten Roshi /Kame Sen'nin)
Sea Turtle (Umigame)
Say Tortle (Urigome - Goku mispronunciation)
Majin (Magical Being)
God of Earth - (Kami)
Ginyu Force Rangers - Ginyu Tokusentai

Other Info:

- PM me for contact info for auditions proper.

- Recording Quality: 44000hz (min) preferably stereo, decent to nice mic.

Lol I have a man child voice. It sounds like Goku too, I can help out. I'm 19 and I already went through puberty dont worry, its not too high. Its more like a less corny Sean Schemmel

Nothing wrong with that! But, I'm actually looking for the really high pitch vein of the original Japanese. Since it's never been done in English successfully before.
