Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

So, here are my predictions about the movie:

Vegeta will surpass Goku by getting control of the power he displayed against Beerus in BoG (as he is still one step behind Goku in FnF, according to Whis), but he will still fail to defeat Freeza.

That would be so anticlimactic. Hasn't that been Vegeta's role in all three arcs and every single movie?

So, here are my predictions about the movie:

Vegeta will surpass Goku by getting control of the power he displayed against Beerus in BoG (as he is still one step behind Goku in FnF, according to Whis), but he will still fail to defeat Freeza. Then Goku will somehow transform beyond Super Saiyan God (as Dragon Ball Heroes hints), and defeat Freeza. Freeza won't die in this movie, and we will see him again (Nakao hinted that in Bulma's blog), but I don't think he will become a good guy.

So basically, he'll master Gohan's powers...that belong to Gohan...and Vegeta shouldn't have displayed at all.

As for the Earth's destruction, it will happen (but Goku won't die), and Whis will turn time back to change it. The scene in the trailer with Beerus & Whis, with Beerus saying that this happened because he (Goku?) was too soft, seems to be in space with a destroyed planet there, so after that scene in the movie, Whis will restore the Earth.

I definitely see this happening too. Those panels in chapter 2 are foreshadowing something like this. Not to mention, the Earth is shown being blown up in the trailer, effect or not.

That would only happen if Vegeta Does that with Bulma or Goku does it with Chi Chi

And why would that change? Vegeta isn't the main protagonist of the series. Goku is, and it is him that defeated all the main villains, except for Cell, because Gohan had replaced him at that point.

• He defeated Pilaf.
• He killed Black.
• He killed Piccolo Daimao.
• He did the majority of damage to Vegeta, so that Gohan could beat him with Kuririn's & Yajirobe's help.
• He defeated Freeza. (Trunks killed him, but he wasn't the main villain at that point.)
• He made the Super Genki Dama & killed Boo, with the help of Vegeta, Mr. Boo, Mr. Satan, Porunga, and everyone else from Earth, Namek, and the Afterlife.
• He defeated Aka.
• He failed to beat Beerus, but he managed to make him his ally through their fight.

OR, alternatively, it could just be like when Goku and Vegeta already used teamwork to fight Buu in the filler.

Those tweets don't confirm or even hint at anything. Nothing about Dragon Ball, Jaco, or even voice acting is mentioned, Chris was just saying hi to his friend.

I'm expecting for Freeza not to even get defeated in this movie let alone die. Just for the reason I think Freeza had too much impact in the series, so bringing him back to just die in 1 movie sounds like a waste.

Because it has been said that vegeta will have a more important role than in any other movie
