They obviously don't want to spoil the movie for the audience, and whatever tease they wanted to give was/will be in the Bulma blog updates (I don't think Horikawa was a guest yet).

Despite being one of Freeza’s underlings, Tagoma really didn’t know just how strong Freeza truly was. So in a certain sense, I feel like he’s a stand-in for today’s kids who didn’t see the old TV series and so don’t know how powerful and scary Freeza is.

Haha, I think this is a pretty decent way of justifying Tagoma's role in the film.

I hope it's canon. Piccolo had a soft spot for kids going all the way back to Gohan, so taking care of Gohan's kid too is right up his alley. I can just see it now, Pan calling him "Mr. Piccolo" just like Gohan did at her age.

Piccolo is basically Pan's third Grandpa when you think about it. I hope we here sometime about Bra however.

Aww, Pan calling him Mr. Piccolo X3 I hope there's a cute moment of Piccolo and Pan in the movie. I just love how in Battle of Gods, we got some "touchy, feely" moments, like with Gohan and Videl, and Vegeta and Bulma. It's really nice to get to see that sort of thing in Dragonball.

And oh well, nothing really revealed in those voice actor comments. Darn. Horikawa's comment about "revenge" was interesting, at least. I'd still like to know what was said in the video of them onstage, though.

Bulma: I’m sure Gohan will make a great father.

Videl: Oh, and sometimes Piccolo stops by to play with her.

That description of Piccolo playing with Pan seems at odds with Piccolo's reaction to her in the Toyotaro manga adaptation. Not sure which of these really counts as "canon" (OK, probably not the blog where Bulma somehow knows she's in a movie and introduces comments from voice actors), but it'll be interesting to see how Piccolo interacts with Pan in the actual movie.

Piccolo strikes me as the type to have a soft spot for kids, but hate showing it in public.

I could see him being reluctant to spend time with the baby at first and then warming up to her, or simply when there's less people around for him to feel embarrassed.

My feelings for this movie has changed drastically in the past 2 months. I honestly can't wait for it. Just read the second chapter of the manga version (or whatever). Like how it's going so far.


Sidenote: Glad Jiji did away with the hentai. Going through his blog is like going through tumblr in public, risky business.
