Slight off topic, but how did FUNi handle Makankōsappō scene in Kai compared the original? and do you guys think they'll use that or the silly sounding Special Beam Cannon?

And I don't have a problem with Freeza becoming stronger as I stated before. The only real problem which I have with it is Freeza achieving power level of SSJ God in amount of a few months, while even Goku didn't manage to get even close to if ater all these years. I would have been okay with it, if Freeza trained for 10 years, or better 20 years, and got to power level of SSJ3 Goku, but honestly, SSJ God, moreover in amount of 4 months, it is just too much. Freeza doesn't have zenkais which were a huge help in pretty much anything related to power up of saiyans. It was alone a big reason why Goku power upped so much during his trip on Namek (not that it makes much sense) and why he powered up even more in Namek itself (which didn't make a single bit of sense), but Freeza doesn't possess this ability, Cell does. That is a huge problem for me with Freeza becoming so strong in such a short amount of time.

Well for all we know, AT could make something like Zenkai up for Freeza too. Freeza naturally is stronger than Goku, no training and Freeza pretty much handled Goku (until he transformed) each month (of training) to Freeza could be something like one or two years to Goku. I do not think Freeza training for four months to rival Goku is far-fetched at all compared to Dragon Ball standards. Honestly I hope the film glosses over all this because I really don't give a rat's behind about how Freeza trained and it is waste of time.

Well, my real problem with it is how SSJ God was presented as something outstanding, something which couldn't have been achieved by simple training, no matter how hard you train, but apparently Freeza achieves it quite easily. If it was only SSJ3, I wouldn't have even close as many problems with it, as I have now. By the way was it confirmed that Freeza achieved power level of SSJ God Goku with training? Maybe he indeed achieved only power level of SSJ3 Goku, and then got something else to top it off?

Ahh that I can understand, but then again didn't AT say Freeza is like abnormal being or something? Anyway, @bolded bit I think something like that will happen, wasn't it teased wayyyy back when the first poster arrived that something more happens to Freeza other than being revived?

Vegeta didn't say anything; the last blog just had something to do with a karaoke promo, and they used an image of Vegeta with a microphone. So yeah, they're still hiding Horikawa X)

Honestly, with all this talk about Vegeta defeating Freeza, I'm not so sure anymore he will be the one to do him in. We haven't even seen one shot of Vegeta fighting. It makes me think that his fight will be incredibly shortlived and the "great battle" will be between Goku and Freeza.

I am not trying to get my hopes up, anyway! But I am sure with all the positive reactions about Vegeta's role and the secrecy surrounding his part in the movie, we will get a great performance from him.

This is exactly why I think he'll defeat Freeza.

If that was the case then he wouldn't be on the poster alongside Goku and do you really think Toriyama after saying he wanted him to be the next hero is going to give him a new form and have him train with Whis only to lose in a short battle with his greatest enemy ?

We see Goku lose so I think that's out the window plus Goku already defeated Freeza.

It would be interesting if he came to earth to warn them about something else which would lead into the 3rd movie.

I think the reason that we haven't seen any fighting is that his particular moments will be intertwined into the climax of the movie, and they don't want to give anything away, similar to the way that Goku's battle with Beerus wasn't spoiled.

I don't really care how strong he gets, really. Unless it gets to something ridiculous like SSJ level, it's all good for me. He's a good character and if making him stronger means he gets screen time, then I'm all for it.

He will only fight soldiers. I don't think he's strong at all, he's more a gag character.
I like him. Him and Tights. The manga is great.

Jaco being in the movie is no different from Krillin being a cop and Gohan using a green tracksuit. It's just Toriyama having his fun with this.
