How can anyone defend healing items in player vs player!!! You can literally punch someone once and if you have a healing item heal at the last second and win. Its a complete mess.
health regen and super armour (and australias crappy internet) are making online unplayable as far as I'm concerned

I don't mind super armour that much, but health regen beyond a Z-Soul is really annoying.nato25 wrote:How can anyone defend healing items in player vs player!!! You can literally punch someone once and if you have a healing item heal at the last second and win. Its a complete mess.

You know I'm surprised we haven't gotten the Potara Earrings as an accessory. I would really like having them because the only other accessory I like that we currently have is the angel halo.

How about when you're beating someone up and time is about to run out and there z soul "I'm an Earthling with Saiyan pride" activates then time runs out.dbzfan7 wrote:I don't mind super armour that much, but health regen beyond a Z-Soul is really annoying.nato25 wrote:How can anyone defend healing items in player vs player!!! That, to me, just screams that there's a problem with the player base, not the items for existing. It's the same thing I'm not able to get 100% behind in Smash Bros. online. A lot of people like to play without having items spawn, and from where I sit...there are tons of other games I can do that in. But the game offers items, it's part of the game, and I see no reason not to use them...and I feel the same way about the healing items in this game.nato25 wrote:How can anyone defend healing items in player vs player!!! I'm not denying that it'd be annoying if someone used them the wrong way, as I'm sure tons do - but I just don't see a problem with the items in of themselves. At all.

You have to unlock them all via the PQs or purchasing them in the shop (most of the DLC outfits are available there).

Same here. Although I usually forget, I do stock up on healing items when I do player matches...and I expect my opponents to do the same.Gyt Kaliba wrote:That, to me, just screams that there's a problem with the player base, not the items for existing. I want to make a male Majin ki-based fighter, but I need some pointers for character creation. Obviously, he needs to have the thinnest setting (since that boosts your ki damage at the expense of your physical damage) and I need to answer the question saying he prefers ranged combat so that I can start out with a moveset that fits. However, for the height (taller characters have more health, shorter characters are faster) and the spread of attribute points as I progress, I'm not sure what I should pick. By the time you hit the level cap at 80, you get a grand total of 237 attribute points, but which should I spend them on and how many?

I like the outfit, but I hate the stat distribution it has. I'm hoping Pan's outfit isn't as bad or even worse.

Well, I went ahead and tried some methods of Dragon Ball collecting. I gathered a set of DBs with each of the following. It was nonstop, besides an occasional break (which I stopped the timer for). Here are the results:
3rd Place: PQ02 Prepare for the Attack of the Saiyans! -1 hour and 21 minutes-
2nd Place: PQ15 The Explosion of Namek -1 hour and 13 minutes-
1st Place: PQ18 Return of the Ginyu Force -42 minutes-
RNG may have had a factor between PQ02 and PQ15, but there's no questioning the over 20 minute difference between those two and PQ18. I think you can chalk this up to time not spent fighting any enemies until you have actually received the DB. Plus, it's a restart fest to get yourself a Patroller faster. Definitely going with PQ18 from now on.
(Of course, this ALL could have just been some ridiculous RNG. You never know.)

Just out of curiosity has anyone figured out the stat boosts you get from Super Saiyan 3 and Unlocked Potential transformations? Obviously people figured out Super Saiyan (2) and Super Vegeta (2)'s stat boosts, but I haven't seen anything on the other two.

Hey, you didn't try Attack of the Saiyans(unrelated to the Preparation for the Saiyans). If I'm not mistaken, it'd be PQ05.Super SaiyaJon wrote:Well, I went ahead and tried some methods of Dragon Ball collecting. I gathered a set of DBs with each of the following. Captain-Sora wrote:I find the one called "Attack of the Saiyans" the fastest. Even though it actually opens with a battle against Raditz, you can easily defeat him in an instant. It's especially easy if you have that Broly Z-Soul that gives you max ki at the start, so you can just ultimate blast him to death in one go.
The Time Patroller would appear on the hill in the starting area after he's down, and you can just reset if you don't get the ball. Once you do, it's very quick to complete the mission after that, as you only have Nappa and Vegeta to take care of. What's even better is that you can ensure that the mission isn't made longer by any possible Ultimate Finishes since you can actively avoid doing the requirements(which are beating the saibamen before taking on the Saiyans).
It's a much quicker grind than going through all the Ginyu nonsense in PQ12 each time you get a drop.
