Thats because thats how i always viewed DBZ.And at most point it remained very consistent in the series. Characters started blowing up planets since the early DBZ and when started to use power level scaling to compare either how fast could that character move or how many planets could he destroy if his power level was whatever that number was. These 2 movies trump everything that i assumed up until now. And i dont care about power levels anymore. I need feats! If toriyama decided to drop caring about power levels why couldnt he atleast give dbz characters their own biography of powers? Show how fast they could move, show how much they could maximum lift, or if they are solar system, galaxy level busters. This would be a much better way to represent DBZ characters powers that way without having to care about those useless power levels anymore. And i cant believe that nobody in the 15 years of Akira toriyama interview bothered to ask him how fast goku was at the end of Z! If i got to meet Toriyama it would have been my first question to ask him!fadeddreams5 wrote: You take this way too seriously. Most writers in fiction don't care enough to really analyze that stuff in-depth to give a clear, 100% scientifically accurate answer. At best you'll get some ridiculous ones occasionally like in superhero comics or none at all like in Dragon Ball. It's not to say it's never done, but I think most prefer to just make awesome, physics-defying stuff happen without constantly second guessing what the technical intricacies behind it all is.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

He would probably only give you a joke answer or make something up. I hope you wouldn't actually expect him to get into a serious conversation about feats and power. -.-And i cant believe that nobody in the 15 years of Akira toriyama interview bothered to ask him how fast goku was at the end of Z! It was for the sake of comedy, like every time when Nami from One Piece punches Luffy, even though he is a rubber man, and realistically shouldn't feel any pain. Besides any Z fighter can feel a pain from punches of weaker people if he is weakened enough/doesn't have enough ki left. So relax, there is no problem with itGokuRules987 wrote: Also why the heck did goku feel pain when bulma punched him during the end of battle of gods? was this actually meant to be taken seriously

It should have plenty of him. I think he is somehow connected with ressurection of Frieza one way or another.CrimsonRex wrote:Does this movie have plenty of Whis? I want more of him.

From what we know about this film Whis is sure to appear. I'm not sure how much screen time he gets, but we know one part of his role in this upcoming film appears to involve training Goku and Vegeta partially or completly during Beerus's slumber.CrimsonRex wrote:Does this movie have plenty of Whis? I got my times wrong because I haven't had a full night's sleep all week. @_@
I'm happy I'm wrong, though. This means I can grab the beginnings of spoilers before having to catch up in the afternoon.

This last Toriyama's interviews that kanzenshuu uploaded are interesting,
"I’ve always been dissatisfied with the “righteous hero”-type portrayal they gave him. I guess I couldn’t quite get them to grasp the elements of “poison” that slip in and out of sight among the shadows."
"What I wanted to depict the most was the sense that he might not be a good guy at all, although he does do good things as a result."
Goku's character depth right there.

They are really interesting interviews. I dig this about Gokû. Sets him apart from other Jump protagonists.
But does it also punch holes in those theories of fans wanting to see an 'evil Gokû' story?
I also think it kind of mirrors Toriyama's 'making manga so he could make money' and his lack of care for keeping his art preserved.

Something that will definitely happen is Goku dying and/or Earth being destroyed and then Whis will use his "time rewind" to undo that. Trailers show Earth being destroyed at the very least.CrimsonRex wrote:Does this movie have plenty of Whis? I want more of him.

No matter how strong they make Goku he will never compare to even the regular Superman. Just let it go.This basically confirmed that Superman Prime could easily kill SSJ God Goku and hell even Gold Saint should have no problem dealing with goku as they are casual FTL speed travelers and can blow up galaxies.

Top 3 questions I want to see answered.
- Besides training Goku and Vegeta, what's the involvement of Whis nad Beerus in this.
- Vegeta's new tranformation and its color
- What happens to Freeza in the end.
About post-credits scene
I would like to see the introduction a of new God character.

Are these previews just a one day only thing or are there more of them prior to the 18th?

Not really my conclusions.
