3 days remain!. How very exciting, I really hope Julian enjoys the movie, and what happens in it will satisfy the fans. I hope Goku actually wins a fight for once.
Vegeta will have a big role, what that role will be we will find out Monday - the movie should finish at around midday UK time, but it may take a number of hours after before we hear anything.
But by Tuesday, we should know what happens!.

I'm not sure how I feel about Freeza being around for another movie, but I'm sure Toriyama knows what he's doing, he's the greatest - my opinion.
I'm not saying he doesn't make mistakes, we know he's forgetful, I'm saying I like his story telling, and Dragon Ball is his, and he knows what is best for it.

This basically confirmed that Superman Prime could easily kill SSJ God Goku and hell even Gold Saint should have no problem dealing with goku as they are casual FTL speed travelers and can blow up galaxies.

No matter how strong they make Goku he will never compare to even the regular Superman. Just let it go.

You forget that the interviews back then are not to be taken seriously because of how the author wrote the character of Goku in his manga. Back then those were joke interviews. NOW they are contradicting. If he didn't want to write Goku as righteous hero then the manga would have been very different. Just like someone here posted: "Any manga is left up to the audience interpretation and not the author's when the series is done. That is why asking these questions or asking for his opinion will 99% be different then what we understand from our viewpoint.

You didn't truly READ it because if you did you would have known that those interviews are and will always never taken seriously. Author's opinions to them are worth less than 1% overall because of the fact that they don't really care much for the finer details(unless they themselves stated at the beginning that they are being as detailed as possible). Example being Kakashi's saying "Look underneath the underneath" was Kishimoto telling us that he would be as secretive and detailed about his lore.

Author's opinions to them are worth less than 1% overall because of the fact that they don't really care much for the finer details(unless they themselves stated at the beginning that they are being as detailed as possible).

So an author has to explicitely state "Okay guys, the details are important here" for them to matter? That's not true at all. It is Your job as the reader to pick up on details.

Actually, he's saying he did write him differently than that. It's just that the subtlety of that was removed when they adapted it.

Goku as a character was written to be a nice fella and all, and he has no ill intent, but in the end he's still flawed. He still fights for his own reasons, they're just not dark reasons. The anime adaptation tends to leave people thinking he's some kind of boy scout.

Unless he's retconned to be nothing like the real version. Maybe an intelligent, calculating weak type of character. Then I'd laugh my ass off.

-Whis implied that most of the Saiyans were gathered on Earth... we think Tarble must be the other one off world, but we wonder... Are there any other Saiyans left besides him scattered through the galaxy?

-Are we ever going to see the Saiyan conflict that lead to the creation of the original SSj God? (Saiyan's history in general)

-Did Goku ever learn about his parents true feelings for him when he spent the 7 years in the afterlife? Jaco's story showed us they actually cared for him, even promised him they would go get him back if everything was fine. Gine seemed to love him enough to look distraught as he left. I feel is a damn tragedy Goku lived believing they were horrible people who didn't gave a damn about him. I guess Bardock would have been sent to hell either way (killed too many people), but Gine might have been able to make it to Heaven, so I hope she might had the chance to let him know.

- Did future Trunks trained new fighters to protect Earth on his timeline?

- Is the "Time Patrol" from Xenoverse and (previously) DBO a real thing in the manga canon?

That retcon of Goku's origins made Goku to be exactly like Superman.
