I never saw any ads up until I went and picked it up myself, however, that doesn`t mean it wasn`t mentioned online or something. A week after I saw print ads in JUMP that mention the 4 new pages.

The art is consistent except for one panel where Goku`s head just looks slightly odd. That helped make it look fake thankfully ^o^

I think most of it looks pretty consistent anyway. So what will happen with the original panels? Will they offer two versions or something?

It's probably like the re-release of the Sailor Moon manga. Just hope you can find the original manga.

So wait... It seems like this went from fake, to real, back to fake, and now real again. I'm so totally lost.

I had a hell of a time finding the original Sailor Moon volumes, over a year before the new versions came out. But it seems like the original Dragon Ball books are still widely available.

I think I got it. At first, since Greg posted it on Apirl 1st, we thought it was a joke. Then he took pictures of himself holding up the kanzenban, but we thought he was just screwing with our minds, so we assumed it was a trick. THEN Julian went to amazon.co.jp, and it was decided it's real. And that probably doesn't help.

If you want the original version, I'd guess that Viz's release of the final graphic novel will be the original version. That's what they probably have the rights for.

Which means that in 4 years, they'll release all the new ones, and I'll have to buy them all over again. Damn them.

I believe it's real. Seriously, it's not April Fools Day anymore. Lying at this point just makes you an asshole, not a hilarious AFD joker.

It is real guys. EX just re-stated it in one of his answers in the latest "Ask VegettoEX" on the site.

No offense Mr. Werner, but I can sorta see why some people might not take you seriously (those that know of you). You're the same guy that thinks FPSSJ3 Goku > Gohan. I don't wanna start a debate but I'm just stating why some people might not take you seriously.

It think the reason people weren't sure about whether or not to take him seriously was more likely due to it being just after April Fool's.

Actually, the "problem" was that he posted it ON April Fool's... which was part of his tactic :P. Fucking with DB fans is amazing.

Was it right on April Fool's? I though it was a day after. My mistake. You guys are quite sadistic about these jokes aren't you? :D

That's nowhere near as bad as the fact that the man not only likes Star Wars: Episode 1, but that it's his favourite "geek" movie of all time! Unless "geek" is some sort of slang for "complete pile of shit", I really can't see how the man's brain is firing on all cylinders.

Yes I remember when I read that, I had to re-read it over to make sure I read it right. But hey, everyone has different tastes. Remember the good old word "tolerance" Liam. :D

Offense? I was counting on people not taking me seriously 8)

As for my favorite geek movie

A. I haven't changed/looked at that list since 5 years ago for one thing.
B. Even though SWE1 wouldn't be up there now, I still like it. I'm not a raving SW fan so I guess I can't really get pissed at George Lucas or anyone for making what diehards think was awful. I just liked it as a movie and thought the final sequence of the film was one of the more exciting movie experiences I've had topped only recently by the last five minutes of Takeshi's Zatoichi. I won't defend it and say it is a classic movie, I just enjoyed it

I actually also didn't mind the film. It wasn't the best out the SW stuff, but it was okay. I absolutely loved the fight sequence though with Darth Maul! I thought he had an amazing amount of prescence. I was sorry when he died! :D And omae, was Takeshi's Zatoichi that good? I've been wanting to see it, since it first came out! I love Takeshi's stuff! Plus, I'm a big fan of the original "Blind Swordsman" films, so I figure I won't be dissapointed. :D
