Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

His voice actor said he'll lose the battle but win the war and there's going to be an after credits scene.

Even if he dies it looks like the consequences of his return will be felt in the next movie(s) as well.

I can totally see Frieza being somehow expelled into another universe at the end. I can't see Toriyama ending the movie on a HUGE cliffhanger with the earth still in danger. You never know, though!

With Frieza being my favorite villain by far, I welcome the idea of having him return in a second movie. Maybe the battle will continue in another universe, wherein there is even more danger... perhaps with gods that may not be quite as "easygoing" as Beerus and Whis.

I think this movie's story will be done by the end with Freeza dying however the after credits scene could show someone coming to earth or Beerus and Whis trying to decide if Goku&Vegeta are strong enough to help them with something.

Or it could be the planet blowing up without any context cause I highly doubt Freeza is going to be able to beat both Goku&Vegeta and do it himself.

Things I'm hoping for:

-Jaco mistaking Bulma and Roshi for Tights and Oomori with a throwaway line like "What? It's not my fault all you humans look alike."
-Some mention of Kuriiza (unlikely, but I'd like it).
-Seeing how much stronger Jaco has become.
-Bull alien being revealed to be a Metamoru fusion (unlikely, but it woud explain a lot).
-A peak into how Freeza trained. All he needs is 3 months on a planet with 10G and a regen tank and he should vastly overpower Cell Games Piccolo in his first form, so I'd like to see if he did something even more intense.

I'm hoping for all of these things to occur in the movie as well. More specifically the things that center around Jaco. I love that guy.

I'm hoping against the odds Gotenks or at least Goten and Trunks appear on the battlefield. The passing the torch theme from the second third of the Boo arc seems to have been lost. The pair could stand to at least take more steps to work their way up the ladder.

We know they won't be carrying any torch thanks to the Z epilogue though. Toriyama could change that, just like how he now has Kuririn back to his fighting days even though he seemed retired in the Z epilogue, but he hasn't shown any intention of doing that yet.

I hoping for the horn-devil guy to be Ginyu, the guy was too unique to not be mentioned along side Frieza.

Was it ever confirmed if Ginyu's Namek body (purple guy) was his original body or if he had switched with someone else?

Not too excited about that Jaco guy, getting a little annoying tbh.

The only thing I ever want from a future or this DBZ material, is for the official story on the "Saiyans" that minus stuff was fan-fic as it gets and actually ruined the story's main points, please for the love of your masterpiece, Toryama make up your mind a make a final concrete film about it

If it's known that Ginyu steals bodies stronger than his, then I highly doubt that was his original body. Also, Ginyu is dead. His frog body was left on Namek when it exploded. I know that's not the same in the anime, but his frog body is at Capsule Corp, not roaming around space until it found a means of swapping bodies again.

Most likely the horn-devil/bull alien is just a really powerful alien from being a mutant, from training, or a combo of both. It may also be another fused alien like how Abo and Cado can fuse or even how Nameks fuse.

If every Namek was teleported to Earth, I doubt Ginyu wasn't. And he doesn't need to swap bodies with a super strong guy immediately. He could switch with a normal human, from a normal human switch to someone who can fly and steal Ki and from that he could probably steal a spaceship or something.

Not saying he's the red horn guy, it seems extremely unlikely.

Ah, damn. I forgot about Frog-Ginyu, and his cameo on Frieza's return from hell on that Hitler movie (Janemba?).

I just played Xenoverse and saw the scene with Vegeta so I thought about Ginyu's body-swap and that mysterious devil guy, I guess there are stronger guys in the universe left un-seen.

@Dyno I feel like Jaco has been shoved down our throats for some time now, maybe he's trying to sale or w/e but I don't feel like I'll ever like AT concentrating on Jaco over DB story line.

Plus apparently I won't be getting Vegeta SSJ4 because hey, Jaco is a much funner playable character for Xenoverse, right?

Ginyu could be entertaining, but I don't think there's enough time in the movie for him to do a body swap B plot. I can't imagine bringing him back and not having him try to use his signature power on the main cast.

But if this were a weekly manga series, I'd say it could be possible.

I kinda understand you, I feel the same about Freeza coming back yet again. Jaco himself (and his manga) was fun and I liked both for whatever reason. I feel the "shoved down our throats" fell right to Tights... It was pretty odd to know Bulma has a sister and never, ever... Since her debut, gave any hint that she has a sister.

But ssj god sucks and looks like goku with permanent kaioken. I am pretty sure that was an incomplete super saiyan god. because why would they call it a super saiyan god and not just a saiyan god. which would make more sense considering how goku hair doesnt turn super saiyan.
