Of all the what if's in Heroes the only ones I hate are Super 17 fusions, he fuses with 16 he just bulks up with no other changes, his fusion with Cell just puts some of Cell's black exoskeleton on his body and makes it look like mascara has run down his face.

Heya guys I'm new here, btw is it just me or the 2nd trailer of FnF at 0:47-0:49 looked a lot like Vegeta and Freeza clashing? u know with the blue aura since the latest trailer kinda showed Goku having white aura + I rewatched it a lot of times and bit by bit I'm seeing Vegeta in there.

Now that I watched it again you're actually right. I can somewhat see Vegeta's hair right before that clash and Vegeta is usually the one with the blue aura which is the aura of the person who clashed with Freeza, but what doesn't make sense is Freeza has the pink/purple aura which is what he has before he transforms into his golden form.

Maybe not. It will still be the base God form, I guess.
My guess is that Whis (because he's their master) will explain it to them when they'll ask about that new form (before or after the fight): Goku will say "but I already reached the Super Saiyan God form, what is this?" and Whis will probably say "actually, it would be more appropriate to say that you had reached the SAIYAN GOD form, as in being a god in your base state, and THIS is what can actually be called the SUPER SAIYAN GOD form".

That's my guess: Super Saiyan God will be retroactively renamed the "Saiyan God" form and this will be Super Saiyan God.

I have to be honest and agree, but then super 17 was a lazy design to begin with.

As for this blue hair, am waiting for the images to see how it goes (if it's the real deal) it could be done right, maybe a similar colouring to the light hawk wings of tenchi muyo? Itt's unexplored territory here and will come down to how well they can present the tone of the colour.

Again 'IF' blue is this next transformation.

I'm on the opposite end. I think Vegeta looks good and Goku looks atrocious. Blue just doesn't fit him IMO.

That's a nice idea, but "Super Saiyan God 2" is more Toriyama-like.

Did today go slow for anyone else? All day I have been playing different scenarios is my mind I hope the Blue thing is not true, for Goku at least, I prefer Magenta-ish colour of SSG.

If Goku and Vegeta are indeed receiving new transformations, then I can't help but feel slightly disappointed. Was looking forward to seeing them running around in their base forms for the whole movie and adding to that "old school" aesthetic that they seem to be going for.

I do find it kind of bizarre that they haven't, at the very least, teased these new power-ups. Even with Super Saiyan God, while we didn't get an official look at it until after the first preview screening, it was teased quite heavily beforehand in Jump and in the 2nd trailer. I s'pose we did get that shot of Vegeta powering up, but If I had to guess, I'd say this is a temporary burst rather than a full-on transformation. Maybe it only appears after the credits...for some reason.

Assuming these are real, of course. Either way, we'll find out tonight.
