Huh, I recall Whis saying he turns back time to "repair" what Beerus destroys, to maintain balance, in Xenoverse.

That was the Resurrection F manga adaptation. I didn't see anything about it in Xenoverse, and I dug through pretty much everything I could think of.

Vegeta died then Freeza destroyed earth, Whis says he can make Goku return back in time for 3mints (limit to return to the past) and beat Freeza before that happens.

A senzu bean shouldn't power him up though, just restore him to full health and power. It still makes little sense on how he was able to beat him.

Well if that post is true and Goku saves the day, then let's see if some fans will actually turn on the movie because of it, and not just appreciate Vegeta having a bigger role than all the other characters who aren't Goku.

Sounds like everyone who hated Battle of Gods will love it, and everyone looking for some character development will be left sorely disappointed.

Dunno, I hated BoG and don't see anything to love about this.

Except maybe that Vegeta didn't get the win. Toriyama at least showed that he can surprise the majority, by going with what was expected to be expected but really wasn't.

A saiyan grows stronger every near to death exp, he almost died and literally took one hell of a beating from Golden Frieza even in his bloku mode. Frieza was wasted while Goku had a chance to regain his strength and had a boost from the near to death exp then full power kamehameha. DBZ in a nuttshell, cant say I'm surprised tho.
