If Freeza does kill Vegeta and blows up the Earth then I guess Vegeta and Nappa are the only characters in the franchise to be killed by the same person twice. Not to mention I would imagine Mr. Satan died along with the Earth unless his jobbing aura kept him alive.

Vegeta, not outright winning isn't a deal breaker for me, heck I would've liked it if Goku & Vegeta took him out together as a parallel to their training scene with Whis. The dealbreaker for me is that this movies seems nothing but fanservice and waiting two years for ER MAH GURD! FURIZAH ADN VEGITUH R GUN FITE! Is not worthwhile at all for me, this really had no business being anything but an OVA/side story with the proper BoG continuation serving as the sequel.

When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Sorbet died before Freeza did according to Julian, so that rumour was debunked.

Hah now Mr. Satan can't say he's the only human to have never died. Guess Kibitoshin is the only notable character to not have died throughout serialization and post manga.

Taking Red Ribbon Arc plot hole, what else we got in the manga?

"Goku believes that he can bring Kami back to life with the Dragon Balls, but later, he reveals that if Kami dies, Shenlong dies.
Future Trunks warns Goku about Artificial Humans #19 & #20, instead of #17 & #18.
Cell's head gets blown away (along with his whole upper body) by Goku's Kamehameha & regenerates from the rest of his body, but later he reveals that he can't regenerate if his nucleus in his head is destroyed.
Super Saiyan Gohan manages to pull the Z-Sword, a feat that none of the Kaioshin were strong enough to achieve. However, South Kaioshin is implied to be much stronger than SS Gohan much later."

Ok, so so far, I think only have a gripe with the ending if its just Goku doing a Kamehameha and eating a Senzu. What would be the point of Vegeta getting blue SSJ then?
Tim Duncan is dope and forever.

Thanks for clarifying. I still foresee another film coming along though. Very interested in seeing more details as they come along regarding what appears to be the Super Saiyan transformation during the Super Saiyan God state.

He actually may have said it, yet it should happen before the end of a movie, not that I am stating that it really happened, just pointing out a possibility of that being able to happen.

Best of all Vegeta only could tangle apparently with a weakened Freeza spoonfed by Goku. Not much of a win in my book.

Goku won after eating a seed against a freezer more weakened ...the only winner of this film is Whiss
Goku and Vegeta won and lost

If anything, this should make Vegeta fans louder. The only people being silenced are the ones who've said that Goku's never beat a major villain. Lol.

Mystic Tien wrote: Only events which happen in manga, happen in manga. There is a manga by Toriyama called Jaco the Galactic Patrolman . Everything which happened in it, happened in Dragon Ball manga universe as well, including the extra chapter Dragon Ball Minus with Bardock and Gine. In DBZ anime universe though there is a different version of events with Bardock revenging his comrades being killed by Dodoria and Goku being sent to Earth as 3 years old kid. Hence why none of anime is canon to manga.
I would say if Toriyama is writing a story that continues the story he already wrote then it's certainly canon. More so then GT or any of the TOEI movies, as he states as much and specifically sets the events between chapters of the manga. You can't really call it filler since it is from the head of Toriyama. It may not be in the manga but that doesn't meant its not canon.

Canon debates can start to become a cancer of this thread, much like power comparison debates.
They derail the thread from making further developments.

Sounds like this movie will at least be as good as Battle of Gods and I'm fine with that. I'm sure the plot summary will answer any big questions that we all have and the good folks here at Kanzenshuu will post that summary when they are ready. On another note I can't wait to see this movie when it makes it's way to the U.K

And with Goku not involved at all. I just want him to just be in his rocking chair with Chi Chi holding hands together.
