Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

Oh boy, it sounds like this movie is going to transpire in the worst way I could have imagined it too...

I absolutely hate, brainless fights that lack any form of development.

It sounds like it's the broly movies all over again... I know a lot of people were fond of them but they're my least favorite for the aforementioned reasons.

I was really hoping that this movie was going to expand the universe further and allow for a more rich and eventful future for the franchise but it sounds like this "movie"(?) only serves to close the story and pander to the brainless "punch um Goku!" Fans...

Sad it's plot what plot, but at least hoping the Gokû and Vegeta interactions make up for it.

Oh, I forgot to mentions that. There was a nice development in their relationship and Vegeta had the enough spotlight.

Guys, stop trivializing what "BoG haters" desire from a DBZ movie. They wanted less comedy and more action. That doesn't mean 100% action from start to finish with little plot or interaction. It just so happens many people didn't find BoG funny--me included.

So this movie is every Battle of Gods non-lover's fault.

I'm expecting good writing, good storytelling, good everything. And I, me, myself, didn't get that from Battle of Gods. Am I a criminal for that? What the hell.

Yeah, mane. Yeah you are! Cuz you ain't no real DB fan if you don't like the gag and comedy!

Nah, I'm kidding, no you're not wrong. I expected the same thing from BoG and I didn't get that either, and it seems like this movie's becoming the same, the only difference is that it got rid of the useless constant comedy gags.

Honestly, the more I learn about the movie, the less excited I am. I expected a backstory for Frieza and what did we get? Mindless action. Now, I'm happy for the "mindless" action, it's the fact that Frieza's return turned out to be useless after all, but that's okay, cuz I CALLED THE SHIT! I still hope if there's another sequel that will explain about the 12 universes, which is what this movie should've been.

I already knew Beerus and Whis (but specially Beerus in this case) were brought back because of their popularity in BoG. So I'm happy Beerus made an appearance in this, even if he doesn't do anything that affects the development of the movie. He's the god of destruction so it was obvious he wouldn't stand at any side and thats ok for me.

This was the biggest complaint i saw, that there was too much comedy and not enough action.

You're right, people forget that in the first place, Dragon Ball is a comedy manga, and then it became action.

So anyone who thought BOG was bad or needed a bit more action thinks DB is action only. Dragonball was comedy-adventure-action. Then it became Action-Comedy-Adventure. The series evolved. Yo Son Goku was the best thing out of modern Db. Good comedy, great action, decent plot.

I never thought people took dragon ball's plot seriously, I believed like myself that we all loved dbz for its action and comedy, guess people really do have different taste and it seems almost everyone is already dissapointed.

Vegeta did half of the work in killing Metal Cooler, and delivered the final blow to Core Cooler.
