It won't BNG has a hatred for Nintendo(no thanks to Sony and Microsoft's Moneyhatting deals) so don't expect this game to release outside of Japan at all.
This was too stupid to ignore....where's your facts?

Where are your sources? Why did Namco bother with putting World Red on the Wii U then?

God damn Bandai it's already like the third Dragon Ball game on the 3DS and it's a Japan-exclusive I don't understand why they just don't make a western release, especially for a game like this! It looks awesome and totally addictive!

If I were to buy a flashcart to play 3DS region free games then I might as well just download 3DS game backups to the SD card and play them without buying. I want to buy, support and play it on my PAL/European 3DS but Nintendo and Bandai makes it impossible. Nintendo really needs to get rid off the fucking region locking.

Wii U was a colossal failure (even Nintendo admitted it) and while 3DS is a success the region locking is still an issue, I think they'll never release a firmware update to remove the darn thing.

Bandai seems to have made a deal with Nintendo to make a few 3rd party games for the Wii U, much like Ubisoft but Ubisoft decided to stop releasing mature titles since no one would buy them and then people wonder why Wii U has no third party support (except for Bandai and such). Ubisoft does still release games for the Wii U but it's just Just Dance.

... The game only got announced a month ago...

Nobody ever expected them to translate the 3DS Heroes games. This one has a much better chance of getting released abroad. Give it time.

I bet that it will be released in the US. Probably a little after Resurrection F's US theatrical run.

Ahaha I was sitting here trying to figure out what other two DB games came out on the 3DS. I had forgotten all about the Heroes games. God I feel like an idiot now

There was also Ultimate Butoden which sadly never made its way to the west and it would've been awesome because that looked like tons of fun (minus the split-screen footage). Hopefully Bandai will bring it over to EU/US because 3DS West doesn't have a single DB game.

Ultimate Butouden was for DS. It probably didn't come out in the US because the DS was nearing the end of its lifespan and the 3DS came out in the US about a month after the game was released in Japan.

You know Bandai could have ported Ultimate Butoden to be a 3DS launch title just like they're developing (well, Spike is) J-Stars Victory Vs+ for PS4, and for example, Xenoblade which is a New 3DS but it really doesn't look better than a normal 3DS game. Bandai could've done the same because the 3DS West DB gamers are hungry for a 3DS DB game.

Xenoblade is on the New 3DS because it requires the additional processing power. Graphics probably have little or nothing to do with it.

Which is why Assassin's Creed sells as much as or even outsells the Just Dance games, and why ZombiU is the highest selling mature title on the platform. 3rd parties came up with lies and excuses for abandoning the Wii U and they got back exactly what they put in, nothing.

Anyhow, I really hope ExB get's localized. DBZ is about as relevant as it was here back in the early 00's. Shit, if JStars is getting localized, ExB damn well better ffs.

Fair enough but the visuals look very dated nevertheless.

Wii U has a few ports which are far better than the ones on 360/PS3 but since the Wii U fanbase didn't bother supporting the 3rd party publishers they were right to reject the Wii U as it wasn't lucrative at all. ZombiU is a mediocre game but I won't bother getting into that as it's off-topic.

The game was featured in today's Nintendo Direct presentation. Here's the debut trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PSjQD7vxHk

Man this game looks fun. And with all the assist characters it looks like it'll be a bit chaotic at times too. Really crossing my fingers this comes over to the States.

It looks GOOD! The sprites look good in motion, the combat does certainly look like something from ArkSys by the way everything flows together and it looks fun. The character count could be a bit bigger (I was expecting at least everyone from SuperSonic Warriors 2 to return) but the trailer does confirm in-game transformations so there's room for a bit more variety (and hopefully it's more than just the 20 characters showcased in the trailer...please). The only thing that does look too chaotic are the abudance of the assists during the fight, but we'll see, really excited a for new 2D DBZ game none the less.

The text says over 20 playable characters. Which I'm okay with since this is the first game in the series. Hopefully this game does well so we can get more.

Even in a game where there isn't 20,000 playable characters, Goku still gets more than one character slot these days. At least it's not as bad as Final Bout.

And I get the very first Legendary Super Saiyan Bardock sprite. Awesome.

Watching closely the trailer, it looks like Freeza and Cell both share a special quote, kid Son Gohan and teen Son Gohan as well.
