Depends on if they're waiting for April Fools day to be over or not.

It seems these days the site doesn't shy away from posting big news on April Fool's day. Hell, the site merger was announced on April Fool's! (because of that, I didn't believe it to be true until the next day ) So if they post it today, there still might be people who assume it's fake, but by this point those of us who have read enough spoilers would be able to tell if it's not real (though it would be kind of funny if there was some troll summary where every mention of Freeza is replaced with Broli )

On the subject of the lack of blood and modern day censorship, I agree it's not a big deal however I don't agree with the censorship at all. Kids are not that ignorant these days. The violence of the orginsl Freeza arc also gave the series a bit more legitimacy as a more mature or adult show. I know that it is not, but it doesn't make a difference. At one time this kids show had people getting holes blown through them and spitting up blood all the time and now it doesn't anymore and that's a shame. Sure you can get the same message across but let's be honest. The blood and violence was... Cooler. People are just too afraid for their children but I don't think they give them enough credit.

If that's what you think, then you have utterly missed the point. It's not about the blood and gore. It's about the censorship in having someone shot a hole in a character's chest and making it look like a mild burn, a matter of principle and hypocrisy. Logic and consistency.

It still does. Even animated shows like Regular Show have been censored to hell. Even shows like Animaniacs and Ren and Stimpy during the 90s, a period at which western animated shows could get away with a lot shit, had to deal with a bit censorship.

Regular Show can say words like "Piss Off" which would never be allowed in the 90's. I remember the 90's that words like "Die" and "Kill" can never be used. That's why the 90's Spider-Man cartoon would never allow guns and characters to punch each other too much. Let's not forget the censorship about “The Next Dimension” and "HFIL" in the old DBZ funimation dub from 1996-1998 as well. I do feel like American cartoons have less censorship then what we did in the past.

No. No it's not. Older fans will still watch the movie and won't condemn it for that one scene in particular. And believe me, western cartoon shows and movie have it much worse. But some of those shows are still able to attract an older audience.

I didn't said people couldn't watch the movie because of that scene, just that the lack of blood it is because in a movie where the focus is to please children, they feel that would be bad to add blood scenes.

Yes. But people intend to think that a children cartoon that contains blood could bring bad influences, a total bullshit if you ask me.

So...? Are you telling me that in all of the Dragon Ball manga or the Dragon Ball adaptations, nobody has ever bled? No. Just a few years ago we got Episode of Bardock where Bardock snapped someone's neck and they can't spare a little blood? It makes the scene more childish.
