I think this discussion about Who should write a Dragonball Movie should be spun off into it's own thread. It's interesting, but off topic

Because Vegeta just didn't make it to the poster. They both get the blue hair in the movie.

If that's what Blue Super Saiyan actually looks like in the movie... holy crap, it looks a whole lot worse than I was expecting. The toys with the translucent glowy blue thing (and seemingly a slightly darker shade of blue, too) actually look much better than this. I know they were probably going for "inverted SSj God color" with that cyan-type shade of blue rather than plain blue, but even so... it just doesn't quite work.

I figure the picture itself is fake, but I hope it's not too accurate on what the blue form looks like.

Fake or not, that's pretty much how it's going to look. I mean, you can't really go many directions with blue ****ing hair. Making it more dark, shiny or transparent won't change anything. With yellow, there's so much that can be done, which is honestly something I never realized before. :?

So, not only did Vegeta fight a totally spent Freeza, but he was scared to take him on in the first place! All of my lols. :lol:

How pathetic. Though not as pathetic as Piccolo getting beaten up by Giant Red Bull Man. Or Gohan getting one-shotted by Freeza after somehow losing his Ultimate power-up off-screen. Or 18 being told to stay in the kitchen. Also:
After holding him under water for a bit, Freeza sends a volley of energy blasts after Goku, who manages to evade or deflect them all. Finally, Freeza manages to land a solid punch directly to Goku’s face… but Goku is completely unfazed.
Not only did he lose to a weakened Freeza after expressing fear of him, it was a version of Freeza who couldn't so much as hurt Goku with a clean hit.

I'm beginning to think that Sorbet was the real main villain the entire time.

Anyway, many thanks for the summary. No real surprises, given what we already knew.
