It seems that the 2nd one is from an SD Version of Fukkatsu no F in which Trunks thinks that Gohan is Yamcha.
Spoiler:
I want that fishing expedition to be in the movie. *u*

Oo Yamcha doesn't wear glasses, as far as I remember. I can totally imagine Future Trunks mistaking Gohan for Yamcha, though, if he didn't wear his glasses, hell, I myself thought at first that it was Yamcha in the poster, until the higher resolution of it was published.

Well, that used to be a big deal here considering all the movie bashing and filler hate that I remember last time I was here... did things suddenly change?
More specifically, my beef is with the the element of Time-travel = instant fix to the plot that just doesnt feel like it fits something you think would be at the most the main timeline. Because I thought you couldn't fix things in the main era like that. Its bad enough as an asspull.
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

Well Trunks couldn't, because he was using a primitive time machine created by mortals. Whis on the other hand is a god and the strongest being we have ever seen.
There's unarguably a distinction there. Whether or not that's significant enough is up to you.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

These days people start throwing the words "filler" and "silce of life" everytime characters aren't punching each other. No matter if something is moving the plot or there's character exposition.
Imagine if DB started these days. It would go like this:
"hey, what's happening in Dragon Ball today?"
"Goku wants Mutenroshi to train him, so he's bringing him some chicks now."
"oh i see, just slice of life filler then. skippable. "

We don't know for sure if he is a god, or not, yet. Though it is very like that he is.

Because I'd buy that, and I'm not even that big on puzzles.
I hope a higher res image of it appears eventually, I'd like it as a desktop background.
Looks like its a promotion from a Sushi restaurant
heres the link for a bigger (though still small for the puzzle to be seen to detail) version of the ad http://www.kura-corpo.co.jp/fair/1504dragonball.html

Kamiccolo9 wrote:So, seeing as when Freeza gets brought back, he's still in pieces, is the "body" we see in Hell just his soul shaped like his former body?
I'd like to think it's just his soul, because when Chaozu self-destructed we saw him with his body on Kaio's planet (unless that was filler, but I doubt it was). Yes his body was restored later, but still.
That picture of Son-Kun fishing with the others is absolutely adorable! I'd love to see the seafaring adventures of Goku and Beerus! (By the way Kanzenshuu transliterating the God of Destruction's name as "BiRuSu" [Beerus] is confusing since the Official Funi subs type "Beers". I'm sure they are both valid but I need one or the other!)
I have a question for Kei or Julian! Does the movie explain Son's and Vegeta's new clothes? The swirl on their clothes is explained but not the actual outfits. Why is Son-Kun now rocking orange (by anime standards) and a Goten style belt? Did Bulma create a new Saiyan armor for the Prince? Just wondering.

Chaozu's body was restored by Kami, before they went off to Kaio's place.
In anime filler we see Bulma, Chi Chi, Videl and Dabra with soul-like bodies in Heaven. I think something similar is intended for Freeza here. His real body has long since gone with the Wind afterall and his body in Hell should by all means just be his soul in the shape of Freeza, so we can recognize him.
Kamiccolo9 wrote:So, seeing as when Freeza gets brought back, he's still in pieces, is the "body" we see in Hell just his soul shaped like his former body?
That's a really good point. That would allow him to look like his body, without possessing the power of it, which I'm sure is the back of many peoples' minds.
