Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan while he had god ki in BOG, but that doesn't mean it was actually using said god powers. If Super Saiyan was increasing his god ki the way it normally does his regular energy, he should have stomped Beerus since he was already over half as strong as him according to Toriyama's Godku-6 and Beerus-10 power scaling.

That's what I thought, if this BSSJG is supposed to be a mixture of SSJ (Yellow) and SSJ God (Red) then he should be having Orange hair. Though seeing as he already has a full Orange Gi, it wouldn't look right at all.

I think that was Goku tapping into the SSJG power his body initially absorbed in the second battle against Beerus in BOG.

Well, it's stated in the synopsis of the movie is that Goku when Goku becomes a "Saiyan Beyond God", that he is surrounded by "an ethereal blue aura."

An etheral blue aura... I hardly know what that's supposed to mean but if the RSSJG's aura was like a flame then the BSSJG's aura could be gentler and like water perhaps.

When Goku became a God in the last movie didn't he have some blue aura at first? Whether that ties into it or is just a coincidence though who knows.

Xenoverse has a blue and gold aura next to Freeza's Golden form aura. Hard to say if that's accurate to the film though, except for those who have seen it.

Well, the blue-ice hair and the blue-ish things that keep around the body it's pretty... Beautiful. Liked it.

If that's what it actually ends up looking like in the film I'd be fine with that. I do like the colour of that hair and the aura looks nice too though it could do with looking a bit...I guess fuller would be the word? It looks a little light compared to the very noticeable and rich looking flame aura he had before.

I think I found my head canon for the color blue of this form.


The original aura of the Super saiyan god was like fire (red hair, red fire-like aura) right? but it was not mastered, now this form is mastered so the fire has increased it's power, like real life fire, it burns with enough power to become blue.

That's how I see it. I never actually thought that super saiyan god was more than twice as strong as super saiyan 3, so assuming his base now works like Gohan's mystic form (SSJ3 tier for the sake of simplicity) then I would assume only a 2x multiplier for blue super saiyan. This is also assuming blue and red are equal of course which may not actually be true.

So how did Vegeta become a God then? The summary never makes a mention of that but from the looks of it he's already as strong as Goku from the get go. Did he go through the ritual and absorb the power as well?

Are they both already capable of becoming a BSSJG at the start of the film or is that something they learn mid way through by training with Whis?

And if they turn into a BSSJG when they turn Super Saiyan then what would happen If they tried to turn into a Super Saiyan 2 or 3? Would they power up further?
