Buu absorbing Cell

Post by mAcChaos » Sat Nov 18, 2006 9:14 pm

Does anyone have a video clip or anything of that from one of those Budokai games I hear he does it in? I want to see what he sounds like and acts like.

But those are just images. Is there a video there I'm missing?

All he does is the Absorbtion animation, Cell turning around lazily saying 'What?', the absorption, and then Buu just floating there lankily.

Really. You're not missing anything.

Yeah, the Tien/Yamcha absorption is much better.

What? You want me to go buy the whole game for a few seconds of animation? : P I wish I had that much spare money. Hahaha.

I bought the game at Sears for ten bucks to see what all the fuss was about and it was alright. I had it for about two weeks, never played any of the modes, and traded it for 5 bucks at Gamestop.

It's just sort of a thing around here that we more-or-less agree upon.

See, we as fans are in a very favorable mode right now. DragonBall is plentiful and cheap in all its various forms; we've got DVDs, video games and a whole plethora of crap so large and inexpensive that ten years ago we could never have imagined such a paradise. We don't even have to resort to things like fansubs anymore, and it totally kicks ass.

So I'm not at all surprised by what The Tori-bot said. I agree with it. Screenshots and such are one thing, but beyond that the attitude here is that if you want it badly enough, you pay for it.

Whoo! A dollar per second, not worth it.

I tried looking on YouTube, but I must using the wrong keywords because I can't find it! And I can't record the video for you because I don't own the game. I'll try searching though since I haven't seen it either.
kvon is an alternative name to Kevin

Ehhh. My personal feelings aside, what I said was more about joining forces with Tori-bot than anything else. We just happen to share the same opinion, it turns out.

I'm not even sure a video with that specific scene is out there, anyway. But feel free to look, I guess.

Word. Discouraging piracy is one thing, being anal is another.

I wasn't being anal, or at least I wasn't trying to be. I don't think Tori-bot was either. But eh . . . I guess we can just settle this as "one of those things" where we'll just have to agree to disagree.

At any rate, I'll leave it alone.

I wish I could help you sir or madam mAcHoas, but I don't have the equipment to capture the footage nor the experience with what you're trying to obtain. The best I can do is suggest YouTube or renting the game and contacting a friend or relative who is good with A/V. And I'd just like to say that Lemmy and the others weren't trying to be anal about it. They're generally nice people imo and the only offense that they've done since I've been here was in avertedly having me say "anal" on this board.

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.
