Thanks for the input guys :D I think ill start with movie pack 1 on DVD (movies 1-5) then because the early ones seem to be popular suggestions, particularly movie 5 x). I also might get the movie 12/13 blue ray double feature since movie 13 is also really popular as a suggestion.

I think all of them are worth a look. There's definitely some that you won't particularly care about but you will be glad anyway that you saw them because they all have some good moments. And you will be able to say that you saw them all at the end of it.

^ Bojack Unbound is the best of all 13 movies to me.
A delight from start to finish, with nothing to rub me the wrong way.

Oh yeah, there is one thing rubbing me the wrong way: why is that special Tenkaichi Budokai not part of video games yet?
- Multi-floor arena with general melee and water as the ring-out.
- Normal fights for the eight remaining contestants in this same arena, still with water as the ring-out.
- The four final contestants have a "Time Attack" as the finale, each one of them facing a different opponent in a different landscape, the first one to finish the fight and come back to the arena and reach the right spot wins.

MAN! That would be a sweet stage to have! The only thing that bugs me about Bojack unbound is how quickly Vegeta gets his ass handed to him. Especially after they make it build up in the beginning like you won't see him fight.

Seriously, the movies are all so inexpensive now; one could easily buy all 13 rather cheaply. The movie packs are a good deal, but the older movie singles you can get even cheaper used on Amazon.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

that's true actually, right now I can get all the movie packs for less than $40 on Best Buy's website ^.^
I definitely plan on getting 'em soon. Maybe I will just buy it all at once...

Dragon Ball Z Movie 2 & 3 are hands down the best films. The action and plot stand out. Movie 1 comes up next.

After those, I guess 5, Cooler's first appearance, is dope too. The rest, I could do without.

The Trunks and Bardock side stories though are definitely must-sees, too.

The best movie is your personal choice after seen every movie yourself. If you listen to much to our personal taste, you'll get confused. Just buy first five movies and start with movie 1 and move up and see the characters grow up in the process.

They are all worth watching at least once. But my favorites that I'd recommend are:

1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13.

The absolute best are probably 12 and 13. The animation in those are fantastic. Other notable great animation is in Movie 5 and 10. I dunno why, but those both look gorgeous to me. I actually enjoy the odd tone of Movie 6. Movie 9 I don't like as much as everyone else, but it's okay, can't say it's horrible.

The worst movies are absolutely Movie 7 and 11.
