Exactly how I feel, I currently have 4 characters, with 2 of them having 0 points into each other and 1 having like half the points avaliable for this same exact reason. I built my Namekian kinda the way I wanted, but doing it again with other characters I just felt like "Crap what if this doesn't fit the way I play/this race?" and just stoped bothering. I also have more fun playing as the original characters anyway these days during the few times I do PvP and those are usually well balanced and varied enough (except of course, Mr. Satan, Appule, Rasperry and Saibaman) for me to not care.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:I'm just lazy. I don't want to bother figuring out what is best for my characters or playstyle because I can generally beat CPUs without needing to invest. So distributing the stats, screwing up and then having to collect Dragon Balls to fix it...only to screw up again doesn't eat away at my time.

I've really not done a thing with my other created characters as of yet, honestly. I'm going to be playing with my male Saiyan the most probably, so I've just been busily trying to unlock everything with him. Then I'll have all my outfit and skill choices to make the other characters good to go from the start. Well, I'll have to power level them, but still.

Until the DLC drops, the only master I've got left to work with is you, Beerus-sensei. It'd help if you'd show up and drop your outfit pieces for me in another mission, but nooooo.Lord Beerus wrote:Training with #18 done and dusted.![]()

Speaking of Beerus as a master, how do you get to him anyway? Do you have to complete a certain master's training or something? I plan on using his moves for my human character(only Beerus' physical moves) and my Freeza character(G.O.D.W and Beerus' ultimate).

To get Goku's training, you have to be at least level 70, and have completed the main storyline.

I'm reading that folks don't invest much in Stamina. Why is that? You need a decent 30-40 Stamina stat to escape danger. (I'm not a fan of escape skills, expect Final Pose and Kid Buu's scream)
My "Future Warrior" character is being made with a balanced set in mind, while my male Saiyan is pretty much a "SS spammer." Because what else would he do? Finally my first character; a Frost Demon has had his stats changed a few times and now he's 100 Blast Ki, and 30-40 everywhere else expect Melee and Ki Melee. Which are 10 and 0 respectively. (The Frost Demon in question is decked with Future Trunks shirt and everything else GT Goku. His Z-Soul is "I'm neither God or Piccolo." Sooooo I think he's a pretty decent character.
P.S. I like Ki Melee skills but I haven't found much use in major combat with them. Those higher level PQ demand Ultimate Skill spamming honestly.

The reason for not investing in Stamina (like me for example) is because you can work with 4 bars of Stamina if you play smart. The primary use for Stamina is to use Vanish to escape a combo. Evasive skills are really only for escaping Ultimates and such. Having 4 bars of Stamina guarantees you 2 Vanish uses which is plenty to work with if you're playing a Ki Blast user. Even though I'm doing a balance between basic and ki blasts, 4 bars of Stamina is still enough to work with. If I needed more, I would have to invest points to gain 2 more bars (which is 50 points needed) as one extra bar of Stamina isn't going to do shit. Obviously that would take out of what I have invested in points big time. Another advantage to having low Stamina is that you recover from Guard Break faster as the recovery rate doesn't speed up if you have more Stamina. The more Stamina you have, the longer it takes to get out of Guard Break.

What's faster? 7 Dragon Ball grinding or max out level grinding? Honestly I think it's faster to get the 7 balls. Though I heard by the time you do, you could max out another created character.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I just play the Ozaru Festival mission for grinding. If I'm extremely lucky, I net almost 85k in exp (usually between 50-60 though) and there is a chance at a patroller showing up at the end to drop a Dragon Ball. Kills two birds with one stone.
Yesterday I raised two Freeza Clansment from 80-85 and another from 80-83 and collected two sets of DBs in the process. Just two more sets to go before I have all the unique wishes finished (need the last two Ultimates).

That makes sense, I never thought of it that way. At the same time I base my stats on what type of race I'm playing with. I gave my namekian characters more health and stamina, my saiyans greater attack power, humans and frieza race some what of a balance. I used all my slots and play with each character differently; I've been having a whole lot of fun that way.BlazingBarrrager wrote:The reason for not investing in Stamina (like me for example) is because you can work with 4 bars of Stamina if you play smart. Ki blast supers 100
Basic attack 27ish range don't quite remember
Health 70ish range
Ki 50ish range lol
She wrecks against others...I try an play fair but if I get spammed I spam perfect shot..
2-3 of those does the trick really quickly.
She's lvl 84..
I have 4 more characters..they are mostly attack based characters..just got broly's set today..super powerful .

I finally managed to get "I'm okay" Z-soul. Terrible quest.
Talking about DLC2 - no new stages? I'd like to see a destroyed city from GT, where Goku fought with Nuova and Omega. Kinda sucks if we'd have to play on the stages from the base game. No atmosphere.

I'd like to confirm if Pan's outfit from DLC 2 stat wise is:
Ki +2
Basic +2
Strikes +2
Ki Blasts -2
If so...I'm so using that outfit. :3

Okay, I've hit a bit of road block with Gohan and Videl's training, as I need to get the Z soul "I... I'm okay" from PQ 47. So... yeah. Fuck that shit. I'm gonna go train with Gotenks instead.

So has anyone made a chart or guide showcasing the stat boost numbers for each Z-Soul effect (like say "Guess We Better Fuse Into Vegetto..." for example, which gives a large boost in all stats when transformed and when using a reinforcement skill)? It's a little hard to pick Z-Souls that have stat boosting effects when you don't even know how much of a boost it is. Also, when it says "all stats" what exactly is that referring to? Attack stats? Attack plus defense? Speed? What?
