The power is clearly equal or greater than SSJG.

It's ki, however... yeah, no way to truly confirm unless a mortal character "senses" Goku's ki in the movie.

Toriyama said that the blue hair is suppose to represent weaker power than the red hair. So I guess this form is weaker than Goku's God form in BOG. Plus, why is it blue anyways? He turned SSJ in BOG after having the God power and his hair was still yellow. I don't get it.

It was gold in BoG because he hadn't mastered SSJG. After training with Whis and mastering SSJG, SSJ is blue for him.

I suppose, given how he suddenly went into that form for a brief instant, people (including me) expected Goku would eventually transform into magenta god after training instead of blue god. The point of the new form should be an further upgrade in my opinion, but basically they are in the same level, like Golden Oozaru and SS4. I will have to get used to it.

Maybe Beerus also changes when he is at 100%?

Time.

Goku's likely only recently mastered this power, and it would probably take him some time to master SSJ2 or 3 on the same level he mastered SSJ1, if that's even possible.

But given enough time to train himself... possibly gonna happen. Who knows?

I don't look at the form as though it's a mastered form. I look at it as the only way Goku could figure out how to control the full power of SSJ God that he absorbed. He can't stay in the God form long enough to master it. I guess in doing so, he seems to have actually found out a way to make it a little more powerful. But either way it's basically just him unlocking the hidden absorbed God power. IMO.

I wish we had this name-giving creativity back when SSJ2 and SSJ3 were revealed too.

SSJ2 = Super Saiyan Beyond Super Saiyan = SSJBSSJ

That's pretty much what Goku called SSJ2 before he shortened it to SSJ2 when he was about to fight Fat Buu.

Anyway I would've perferred it if SSJG2 gave Goku blue SSJ hair with red iris' and black pupils or vice versa.
(Perhaps someone could photoshop a pic of Goku for me to see how it would look )

As one of the things I like about the original SSJ was the contrast between to green eyes and blond hair. This new form just having blue eyes and blue hair makes it look kinda bland.

Plus the new form using red and blue would've matched up with the red and blue lightning in the poster, or maybe their saving something like that for the next film...

As far as I know there's nothing stated about not being able to so if there's someone he can't beat with Ssj1 then surely he'll use 2 or 3.
