I gonna give Videl and Gohan, one more effort. But if the RNG is feeling dickish again, then fuck it.
That's why I'm stuck on Vegeta. Keep playing that same quest and waiting for the item to drop. I've beat that quest to here and back and gotten what feels like every other available reward but the one I need to give to him. ^^;
Will update if I/when I(?) get it.
I remember, I spent a WEEK grinding for "I'm the Strongest on Earth!!" to the point where I eventually quit Vegeta's training. Then I tried leveling my female Saiyan one day and I eventually just did that quest again for the hell of it to help her level up... That's when it dropped.
The moment I quit, the moment I got that Z-Soul. I swear, the RNG gods are such trolls.
Aw, if that's the case, I'll give it a few more goes and consider quitting him for now, which is a shame because that galic gun is the best ki based attack I've gotten so far.
The hardest Z soul for me to get was the Gohan and Videl one..beat all the masters except for the dlc ones..just bought the season pass yesterday. If I may say so myself, the patches are fucking great!! I get a (!!!!!!!!) almost everytime now.

I found Freeza. Everyone else can wait, I'm gonna train with him.

You don't have to quit his training. The RNG gods might be more forgiving for you. As I said before, my brother gets a bunch of supers and ultimates from his first or second try at a quest, whereas it takes me at least 10 to get even one most of the time.
Luck can be a biased mistress.
Also, on an incoherent side note, I think I'm going to quit PvPing on Xenoverse. I've literally turned into a punching bag when playing PvP. Ironic, since it feels like I'm turning into my favorite character.

So... Is there any way to start a fight as a Super Saiyan/2/3 right away without the form going away? Is there at least any cheat or hack for this?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
I have no idea how the game handles permanent transformed opponents. I assume you'll either have to mod a lot of files to switch around forms and stats, or if the game uses an AI exclusive Z-Soul, hack that into your inventory.

I'm sure you can hack that on PC but, given the Super Saiyan mechanics in place, you legit can't.
As far as your created character you can either pick gold hair or wear the Super Saiyan Goku wig, which is basically the same visual effect
Okay so what I've found out so far the latest patch did more than what was just listed. From what I have seen posted...
-Super Electric & Death Ball Strike tracking got nerfed.
-Death Ball does not give you invincibility anymore & it doesn't juggle either.
-Super Electric Strike is much like Shocking Death Ball now where if the opponent is in your chest, it'll go over them. Also seems to knockback now.
-Super vanishing ball only tracks until it shoots now
-Milky Cannon fixed for online.
-Fixed Shine Attack Skill
-Getting Dragon Balls is Much Easier
-Tutorials can now be reconfirmed
-Added NPC near News Board.
-Apparently Final Shine Attack got buffed from what my friend told me.
Based on these notes, I must say Dimps/Bandai really are paying attention to what's going on. I mean I've played Ranked a bunch of times and having Milky Cannon blow up in my face multiple times was a really pain. Still, has anyone noticed any more changes from the patch skill wise? I'm hoping they'll rework Super Saiyan transformations to make them more balanced and worthwhile as well as give Saiyans a way to be on par with other classes.
I may rework my idea to get off of PvP if I could find a new guild. I was in a guild on Xenoverse originally, in exchange for the leader training me, but... Idk, I just can't be in it. I prefer a clan in which I'm familiar with/bonded with the leader.
Is anyone on this site starting a PS3 clan that would work as a family? Where the leader would bond with it's members and hear what they have to say when it comes to the clan? If so, I'm all open for being recruited, so long as I get to know the leader like a friend. Bonus points if the leader would help me get stronger.

Played the game for the first time today, not bad so bad, better start than most other DBZ games.
I'm not sure if it's something that might get repetitive fairly quickly though. I do find it annoying that when there's dialogue you have to keep pressing X so that he says the next bit.

I equipped final shine just because they mentioned it..my ki supers are 100 so imagine what my face looked like when I used it...took half of my opponents health with one blast and hold..it's amazing .
*Anata no bōru no Buruma o ushinatte shimatta!* (You've lost your balls Bulma!)
Can I say beyond Blue Hurricane, Strike Ultimate's are just shit? I find them all really weak in comparison to Ki Blast attacks. Yeah I have ki at 100 for one character and 90-98 on the other, but still the difference is pretty noticeable. Also it's easy to get out of a Strike Ultimate in comparison. Spirit Sword only does real good damage if you can hit with it twice. Also the options are limited. I also find Ki Supers genuinely more effective too.
Looking at stats....why do male humans have such a good thing going for them? They have all 4 of their stats on the top 4 spots. Everyone else doesn't. Also gotta agree on how Saiyans ironically do seem like weaker humans. I haven't fully tested out humans, but from one go they feel faster and about as effective. Saiyans seem only good for PVE with spam while in PVP they don't have as much going for em. If I maxed out a human, they'd probably do a lot better with their perks.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
Well, there was DBX DLC giveaway from Bandai in Europe for PS4 and XONE.
No more codes available. Of course, after writing three e-mails, that I will pay for having SSJ4 Vegeta, they issue this giveaway that I didn't knew about and came in late
because they ran out of codes as soon as the offer was up. All the other extra you can get as VIP Bandai member are up of course.

Anyone knows how to deal with someone who abuses vanish, whenever i play against my friends they always choose a character with high stamina and spam vanish whenever i hit them.I know the stamina stat isn't important when leveling up but after playing against my friends, i'm starting to disagree.

Back-Melee, trying to jump out of your melee string, teleporting youself and using a throw. If you have Dragon Thunder you'll catch anyone who vanishes after your string as well.

I had a guy instant transmission and milky cannon spam...he also spammed electric strike over and over again

Jesus. Fuck this game. I'm at the part where you have to fight Beerus and Whis at the same time. Grinding so far hasn't been a problem for me, but I'm at a point where the old PQs (Saiyan-Namek arc) don't yield enough EXP to warrant playing again, but at the same time the newer PQs (Artificial Humans-Boo arc) are too difficult for me and I keep dying. But what really gets my goat is that you get absolutely dick for EXP if you fail a quest, like 1/10th. /rant
Super Electric Strike is indeed nurfed. Which sucks because I toiled away for that move and when I got it I was like "Yes! Now I can be over powered like everyone else!" And yet it was not so. Truly vexing.
So Final Shine is strong you say?!
